Which software are you using to do the engraving ?
Do you have the STL files?
V roller wheel in T-slot profile?
you not has think good how make wire/cable self to X axis good.
good decing but Z axis not need motor laser need only focus setting hand, and ready.
I would love to have the STLs

Are the plastic bits created with a 3d printer? Are there files available? Of course 'the plastic bits' could be made out of any other resilient material such as plywood or aluminium. Thanks

not need be lazy, normal men can draw own parts STL file easy.
Sorry i´m no lazy, just dont know draw, so i apriciate if someone indicate whre i can found the foles to print 3d, @@mattivirta

cool stuff! i think you didnt mount the motors correctly, the second set of bolts should only bolt to the other side of the rubber not go trough and into the motor again...
