This is why Vander almost killed Silko | Arcane Season 2 Episode 5
Vander's memories in the form of beast and his letter to Silko finally explained scenes from 1 season, where Vander tries to drown Silco in a river.
Silko led the people to the bridge and was the first to throw a Molotov cocktail.

That's why there's a saying, "Villains are made and not born."
“When she died, I lost my head. I told myself what I did to you was for the greater good-that you deserved it… But the dirt was on both our hands.” Caitlyn and Jinx ?
Love the detail of the hair on younger Silco. Looks like Jinx, but a different angle. Nice touch.
The thumbnail makes it seem like hid tried to kill him over a bowl of cereal
Can someone explain how this letter could change everything?
Even if he knew vi alive i think he won't kill her for nothing
As if that letter would’ve changed anything pffff
You know I have a big issue with this. Because silco was totally prepared to kill Vi and Jinx. Even brandishing a knife before jinx hugs him. That's his friend's kid. A woman he went to war with and he'd gut them?
From the thumbnail I thought it'd be because he tried to claim the title of Bozo One
I still don't get why Silco was willing to kill Vi and piwder, back when he kidnapped Vander. That would be like spitting on the memory of the woman he got killed.
Brothers fight for Zaun but never knew what was it like to raise a child on their own. Beautiful story and this was a falling action. Amazing. No words
they skimmed through this part way too fast, it was confusing to follow.
"Killing is a cycle, one that started long before Vander and me, and one that will continue long after the two of you, I think the cycle only ends when one of you finds the will the walk away"
This video doesn't really exaplain anything. It's the same information as in the netlix series. I guess Vander blamed Silco for not protecting Felicia?
What i dont understand are two things: If Vander betrayed Silco when Felicia died, why do they look so young (especially Vander) in the scene that he tries to kill Silco? And if Silco knew Felicia's daughters, why was he so determined to kill them?
Maybe in the alternate universe where Heimer and Ekko was trapped for a while, Silco found his letter thats why he forgave vander.(ep 7 of arcane)
One decided to continue in order to avenge them the other just to stop this madness. They fought in the heat of the moment as they were on fight mode.
What could have been...
My headcanon is that after the accident that took Vi's life, Jinx and the boys were arrested and the only way that Vander could have saved them is if he and Silco finally made amends and brought their ideal Zaun to fruition without bloodshed with Piltover. Silco sharing the grief with Vander after he failed to protect one of Felicia's daughter might have made him realise this as well and thus pushed them both to the road of forgiveness and progress.
We know how they mother die but Vander was clearly older when he adopt the two girl.
OH ! SILKO FOUND THE LETTER IN THE OTHER TIMELINE OH MY GOD FORTICHE
"Humanity, our very essence, is inescapable. Our emotions, rage, compassion, hate. Two sides of the same coin, intractably bound. That which inspires us to our greatest good is also the cause of our greatest evil.”
Hearing this borderline victorious music with ep 3 aftermath is so odd but beautiful; Silco weaving himself back in this family again
whos that 0:37
(No idea but) I think it might be Connel...? Their dad
My chest actually hurts right now. The tears aren’t falling, but the last pillar holding up my mental stability is.
shit...
when silco said to powder "we will show them all" i had to think of the moment he and vender promised to take care of the children .. damn
How did Vander when he hit Silko he had no beard and when he took the girls he had a beard?
Wow I did not notice that at the end Sevika was being carried but makes sense, since that wound would’ve been fresh.
this show was fucking raw. He held back 0 of its punches. I dare say this is the best animated show to date. And i have never played the game or give 2 fucks to try.
it's a great show but not the best animated show to date but it could be the best animated show you've watched to date
We SEE what could have been in episode 7. They could have saved... everyone.
Can someone explain to me why the hell did Silco want to kill Vi and Powder when they were little if he knew THEY WERE FELICIA'S KIDS??
Yeah! Silco wanted everyone to turn against Vander and rally around him as Zauns leader and his violent approach instead, so he wanted everyone think that Vander took the kids and abandoned everyone in Zaun, so the kids had to disappear too. Cuz it wouldnt make sense if Vander "abandoned Zaun for his kids" but the kids were still there.
Great editing, it's simple, yes, but it enhances the message and emotions of the scenes.
This is so good!!!
Honestly people who think Vander and Silco are or could be a couple never had male friends and too much time in their lives.
Same goes for people who think they HAD to have had feelings for Felicia and male/female friendships. Neither of them show any jealousy when she says she's pregnant, just caring. They were all bros together
Where is that scene of silco throwing the molotov from?
Episode 5, 17:05 Warwick’s evil memories
Crazy looking back to see Sevika was right there by Silko's side, when Powder was only a child
This series turned me into a big League of legends fan I simply cannot get enough. I downloaded all the LOL apps on my phone bc I don’t got a PC. Also Skyrim online is the closest thing to LOL for me 😅😢
0:35 Dude was absolutely massacred
Hm…but to whom? At that moment, there was no one to take revenge except Piltover.
Season 2 broke me on so many levels... I cried for most of the last 3 episodes 😭
jinx has silco's hairstyle. such a fuckin daddy's girl
I think Jinx's hairstyle resembles her mother's more (which Silco probably styled). The braids + the long fringe on the right side.
@@t00sa nah she mirrors her father figure. We see this in the alternate timeline: she has Vander’s hairstyle.
I wish they showed how Jinx found that place
It's funny how we find out in an alternate dimension that Vi was the real Jinx in the story.
Oh, that's why he took care of Powder 😢
Doesn't track. Doesn't fit with Silco that we see in Season 1 Ep 1-3. Vander tries to apologize and is told "You will die for the cause, but you won't fight for it". This scene is trash.
Season 2 was sorely missing more backstory for the fallout between Silco & Vander. Wish they focused on the more intimate relationships/conflicts (ex. Piltover & Zaun, Vi & Jinx, Silco & Vander) that were the heart of Season 1, rather than side stories/characters like Black Rose, Warwick, or even Isha. Thanks for this simple but powerful edit! Silco's words to Powder perfectly sync with the quieting music at 1:08.
I agree wholeheartedly
I agree, more or less. While the Black Rose seems unnecesary for the storyline it's only in the way of the character arc. However if we see the bigger picture, Ambessa's army with Viktor was overpowered. Piltover never had a chance without Mel's magic. To introduce that in a pure human diplomatic person, needed a strong dramaturgical reasoning. Warvick maybe could have been left out maybe not (yet definitely added to the world building and the dramatic moments). And Isha... Isha's faith was the main reason of the Jinx's disappointment in the world and herself.
Even Vander makes mistakes in controlling his anger... meanwhile people are going all over Vi for getting mad at Powder for accidentally killing their Whole Family
Vander and silco 2 brothers Went from helping each other And working together to being enemies only to die tragic deaths😔
Vander and Silco are in my opinion the best Dads and Father Figures in Animated and Media History. I keep thinking of that Loony Tunes meme of Daffy saying to his GF "I want to start a family with you", and she's all "What?". I see that with Silco saying that to Vander, after his experience of adopting and raising Jinx as his own daughter, coming to an understanding of what it meant for Vander raising Vi as his daughter.
