These should be connected to the head amp? Or are they an alternative to the head amp?
Mesa sounded the worse, Ftyette with switches off sounded the best. Absolutely hear the difference between A and C
I agree
It's true the Fryette LXII sounded perfect
Great demo! Can you confirm that you're bypassing the cabinet block in the preset?
Thank you. There was no cabinet block in the preset at all.
@@billstaleyguitarist OK, thanks. There appears to be one in the screenshot but it's on Output 1, so I guess you used Output 2?
I stand corrected, there was a cab block, but you are correct. I use output 2 for going to a real power amp and cab. You definitely were not hearing a cab IR.
@@billstaleyguitarist Thanks for the clarification.
great!
Sounds like you gotta adjust the trussrod and set intonation. Not sure what your experience level is with guitar work but it's not too difficult. If those two didn't sort your issue after setting the action then fretwork is needed.
Lmao his ridiculously good hammer and pulls and legato and bends , iconic
I switched from Matrix to Seymour Duncan PS170 and a PS200. Both damn awesome!
Nice!
You are a great player and I’m pretty sold on a spec like this being my next guitar. Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words
That's about as fair as it gets.
"Rock and Roll Crazy Nights!" Right on brotha! 💚🎸
During the blind test C (Fryette with depth / presence switched out) was my favorite and D (matrix) was my least favorite. I agree that the Matrix sounded like it had the high some high end roll off compared to the tube options. I also agree that the differences weren't worth the extra weight and cost concerns of running a tube amp for live use.
I appreciate your insight. Thanks for taking the time to watch
You've confirmed my preference for the LXII.
Thanks for watching
@@billstaleyguitarist thanks for making it, quality comparison :)
Awesome Your Content
Cool comparison
You already know my thoughts Bro! Bill is a BADASS!!! Miss Ya Bro :)
And I love that you threw some COH into your demo!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Great job! \m/
Matrix was surprising to me. Very nice demo as I'm in the market for a new power amp. Thanks!
Good stuff
Well done guys!! Killed it!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Great job guys!!! \m/
I love that challenge.. Good stuff bro
Sick 🔥🤘
Thanks for watching!
Nicely done. RIP Greg. Gone way too soon. \m/
Thank you
Bill!!!
Excellent cover!
Thank you!
Damn! I just got to Sanctuary "Future Tense". I hope you guys play in Pittsburgh!
As soon as you played Metal Church, I was sold! Is this in Pittsburgh?
No, Jacksonville FL
Prey is a very hard cd to find.
We will be putting it on streaming sites by the end of the year. Thank you for the interest.
@@billstaleyguitarist Cool! I will look for it.
The guitar came tuned a half step down. That’s probably why it seemed so far out of tune and tuning half a step up can indeed cause the neck to move.
Nice job! \m/
Very badass! So clean on the feel.. 🤘🤘🤘
Thank you for the kind words.
You kinda look like Jeff Loomis hehe
If only I could play like him. Lol
@@billstaleyguitarist I feel you :)
Smoking hot!!
He is good.😊
Thank you so much. If you are interested, he is the singer for my original band called out of darkness.
Those vocals are ridiculous!!! 👌🤘

hey good sound on AXE FX 3 !! would you mind sharing preset? Also love the riffs
Thanks Thomas. That video is from awhile ago, so any preset I had likely changed a bit. I typically use the 5153 Red amp with fairly stock settings and if I need a boost I'll use the CC boost in the preamp section. I don't do any crazy advanced tweaks. It's mostly just bass, mid, treble and gain. I'll sometimes mess with depth and presence too, but most everything stays pretty close to noon, except gain. That's usually around 7
Nice! Can you do the monkey? Another one of Ed's animals!
I'm not familiar with that one
@@billstaleyguitarist neither was I. I play guitar and have followed Van Halen since the 80s. Saw this video yesterday, I'm dying to try it out! The monkey effect starts around :30 through :45 🤘 th-cam.com/video/5o9yylOWcbY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vpOx7T4cxMM97sP9

Ah, that elephant trick! * tucks trouser pockets back in and pulls zip up*
LOL
I LOVE that guitar!!!
Thank you. She is one of my favorites. Plays like a dream
Great , what is that guitar ? thanks
That is a Robin Medley
@@billstaleyguitarist thanks man
Thank you for taking the time to watch the video.
I'm fairly certain that each of the three straps on the inside is meant to wrap around one guitar neck rather than being connected the way you did. If that works for you though, can't really argue it! I just ordered one of these myself, super excited to get it.
It's actually two straps, but one of them is split like a Y. It has two ends. Glad to hear you ordered one. They're pretty amazing
7.47! Very impressive driving, man! How have I never seen this before?!
Thank you my friend
Please disconnect all six latches before opening it. I cringed hard when I heard the case opened like a door! 😁
I did the second time I opened it. I thought it was hinged at first. Thank you.
Cool Mang, only a few hundred (thousand) more views and you can retire to a life of luxury making YT videos! I'll like every single one and even help once in awhile to get you there bro! Miss Ya :)
Thanks bro. Always good to hear from you. A few Billion more streams and I can retire. Lol
Nice case and looks pretty solid, then I saw you drop test it (probably not on purpose lol) and it held up. Very cool, bro!
Actually, that was on purpose. I was going to go outside and throw it across the yard, but I didn't have the courage for it yet. Haha.
@@billstaleyguitarist 😆
Your lead sound is my kind of rhythm sound lol.
Do you feel the bass is good enough to practice with or perform in front of 1-2 people? I don't expect it to blow away a room, but good bass is a must. I have a tiny bluetooth speaker that can fill a room so wondered if this can do something like that. Also, does it sound good for general music playback? I have a spark mini which doesn't sound too good for just general music listening. Thanks, great vid.
There is enough bass for self practice and maybe 1-2 people. It's decent for music playback, but the speaker is just too small to project much bass.
