@0:34 “why he doesn’t push Torii Hunter away” because when you’re a good manager, you let your player get his money’s worth, he’s already been ejected!!
5:30 Ron Kulpa is honestly so accurate. No one else would’ve called that a strike bc of where it was caught, but he got it right. Definitely gets a bad rap.
I think in spring training next year they ought to experiment with letting the pitch track machine automatically call the balls and strikes instead of the home plate umpire. The calls and the strike zone will be more accurate and consistent. Plus the umpires won't be getting hit behind the plate by pitches and foul balls and they won't have to deal with all the physical and mental stress of calling hundreds of pitches back there every game.
Umpires say they hate the abuse and throw people out for "showing them up!" First, if you are giving it back to them, is it really "abuse?" Second, if you don't want to be shown up then don't show up the batter. I mean the strike 3 calls and theatrics from the umpires are ridiculous now
I agree. Really ??? Harper is such a tool bag ...tied 4-4 in the bottom of the 10th... Wow If i owned the Nats, it would go something like this :......Nationals Owner = Bryce can you step into my office please .. Bryce Harper = Why ? Nationals Owner = Cause you're F**king Fired !!!!!
First off ... Taking your jersey off and throwing it on the ground would NEVER FLY here in Philly .....He would have to apologize to the Phillie fan base or we would run him out of town....
Ron Culpa is such an outstanding umpire. Look at 5:25. No one in earth would’ve has the guts to call that a strike because of how it curved, but it was right there. He’s so precise it’s amazing.
I was a player and if I was an ump I would have thrown these prima donas out. They know they cannot argue balls and strikes. I have watched 5 of these videos and 90 % of these calls were correct. I was always told if the ball is close on the third strick protect the plate. No way these batters can determine the difference between a ball and a strike when it is this close. Umpires are not perfect and neither are batters. The umpire has a better view of the ball than does the batter. I am fed up with these overpaid pampered players.
Little League Rule of Thumb that still holds true at the major league level. WHEN YOU HAVE 2 STRIKES, you can't be taking close pitches. "Close enough to call, close enough to hit".... END OF STORY!
Does Bryce Harper only get thrown out when his team's bench is thin?
Never throw your bat
i dunno what it is about bitchin and moanin about balls and strikes that just gets me laughing
In a year they will change the rules where they can review the call and overturn it lol
Bryce is gone you know that LMAO I’m glad the Phillies signed him
That’s part of baseball, other wise the game would be boring as hell.
The best way to protest a strike three call that you thought was ball four is to just trot to first base anyway.
Changes the rules so that players are allowed to argue balls and strikes if they think the Umpire got the call wrong. At least once per player.
5:24 's umpire like CBPL's Lin-Jin-Da
I thought Torii Hunter was a crack head until I saw the pitch on the replay
I’m please why do you clean #BAL struck I hate you
@0:34 “why he doesn’t push Torii Hunter away” because when you’re a good manager, you let your player get his money’s worth, he’s already been ejected!!
god i hate some of these umpires wish they got punched in their fat smug little faces
2:40 you're welcome
@4:53 that called 3rd strike to Sano was terrible
5:30 Ron Kulpa is honestly so accurate. No one else would’ve called that a strike bc of where it was caught, but he got it right. Definitely gets a bad rap.
That’s crazy it actually caught the bottom right corner
Textbook ejection by Tori Hunter✅
I'm surprised some of these hitters haven't taken a bat to the side of an umpire's head through the years.
The announcers don't care much for the umpires, it seems.
All of the those pitches were strikes
It's where the ball crosses the plate not where it's caught
Bryce Harper is now a free agent. I hope NO MLB team picks him up.

That will never happen. The "K zone" never accounts for the height of the batter.

Any Player or Manager that argues AGAINST Joe West I'll support every single day and twice on Sunday, Joe West is the biggest ASSHOLE in baseball!
You would have been on the side of the Nazis at Lidici, too, you fascist POS!
Two morebthings: 1. It takes a TOTAL OF 3 STRIKES for a batter to strike out, not just ONE strike. 2. "Borderline" = strike.
Two things: 1. Each MLB team keeps a "book" on umpires. 2. Bryce Harper is MLB's MVP - Most Volatile PUSSY.
The electronic strike zone is coming

LOL Bryce Harper fixed his hair four times on the way back to the bench.
😂😂

Ortiz is everything wrong with MLB. He has a never-ending sense of entitlement.
You don't argue strikes and balls. Plain and simple.
You do if you think the Ump got the call wrong.
Bryce has a legitimate beef alot of the time but he hurts his team every time he gets tossed
Bryce Harper is a cry baby!

In tennis, basketball and volleyball can challenge a call, why can't they do that in baseball???
pitch to Bryce Harper @1:45 was strike
I would like the strike trax if the ump got it right.

5:22 perfect pitch. sorry to say
At 6:33 the player wasn't even arguing. Fuck the ump.
You should leave Harper off this video. The dude cries about everything. And 99% of the time he's wrong.
Can't have an MLB ejection video without Bryce Harper!
Joey Votto has a lot lol
Some of these calls are atrocious. But the umpire is watching where the ball goes over the plate! Not where the catcher cathes it!
I would hope baseball fans would know that Jim Hayes ...lol.... But maybe some don't so ... good point . : )
It doesn't matter where the catcher catches . It's where it passes the strike zone which is where the plate and the batter is standing.
But the thumb nail is votto arguing about not bring granted time, not balls or strikes...
Bryce harpers reaction was hilarious
