I figured out what it was. I was using the option on the ground that said "Go to college party" because that was the only option. When I tried it from a different lot with the sneak out window, it gave me 2 options: "Go to college party" and "Sneak out to college party". The one that explicitly says sneak out worked for me.

You sound like me! 😅 I also play off the plants resetting as them randomly dying and needing to be regrown. Gardening is so overpowered anyway. 🤣

Well that action is actually part of gameplay now that you can rebirth a ghost to a younger age.

This was done without mods or cheats. When you import a new sim, you can choose their age. This is even part of gameplay now with the life and death expansion pack. I'm just warning people who rebirth a teenage sim as an infant, they might get the same bug.

That could be the case, but one of the rules I have is that I cannot sell it for more than a certain amount. It makes the challenge trivial if you can complete it with one sale.

I’ve also done this before messing around because I wanted to quickly see what a character would look like at their next life stage to get started on the next stage of a legacy build, because generally I like to have an idea of what they’ll be like to decorate their rooms but I obviously can’t do that for a teen that doesn’t exist yet.

@@charitycodes what is the toddler milestone bug? I have recently gotten last exceptions that say something about a “milestone tracker.” I wasn’t sure if that is what you’re talking about

@@camgilinskyy it doesn't give you a last exception. That's something different. Toddlers have 5 milestones for movement. The problem is you can only get them if you level up in movement skill. The bug happens when you get all of your infant milestones first. When you age up to toddler, then you have a movement skill of level 2 already. This causes you to not be able to get the last 2 toddler milestones that are based on movement. If you don't get any infant milestones, you start with a movement skill of 0 as a toddler and then you can get them all. I solve the issue by skipping the infant stage at first and having the toddler get level 2 in movement and get the first 2 milestones. Then I age up to child because that keeps the toddler milestones intact for some reason. Then I go back to infant and do all of the infant milestones. When you age up to toddler, you start on the correct milestone which is the 3rd one.

You have to age up to a toddler with no infant milestones, get 2 levels of movement, age up to a child, then save the sim in CAS and import them back in as an infant. You can then get all of the infant milestones. It's the only way to fix it now since cheating movement skill doesn't work anymore. Clement Frost has $500,000 by default and I added him to my household in a previous episode. Ever since then, Karla has been earning money by investing due to her trait that deposits money into household funds based on the current household funds. After several weeks, the money snowballs.

Yah, for me, I had to make sure that the aspiration was active and on the correct step, then let needs get to red, then get them back to green for 12 hours. If I switched aspirations and that one wasn't active at the 12 hour mark, then I couldn't get it.

@@charitycodes - Oh wow, I think you just cracked the case. He came to the lot in red, and because he already did the time, it popped it. They have to go to red, then go back to green., kind of like getting promoted in theatre if your kid reached the top of the career before aging up. I do think in this case, they were still in red when he got the aspiration. I have 2 out of 6 kids that this just isn't working for, so I'm gonna go try that now.

Yup, it worked. I made them pop a bunch of berries so they crapped themselves (that's what they get for screwing up my gameplay), and sure enough the aspiration completed after I gave them a shower. It actually took the full 12 hours afterwards though, so that's a pretty steep thing to have to make up for. I guess the only benefit with the new compacted duration aspirations is they don't get "stuck" like they do with fitness or fishing, but they can get "frozen." I still haven't figured out what causes them to freeze.

@@Brakathor that was my experience too. After the red needs, I had to wait 12 more hours in game keeping them green and not change the aspiration. Mine bugged out and got stuck when I switched aspirations.

Interesting! Some of the milestones overlap, so I only did the ones I thought were directly tied to infants as an infant. Same with the toddler. I didn't want to take chances.

It's not the chin though. It's the jaw being too short. Pulling the chin out just makes her chin pointy and her face is still squished.

Ah, I remember something like that, but it was usually the whole class that got in trouble for being too rowdy in middle school. The teacher would make us write sentences like that front and back on notebook paper.

Yep! This work around is actually necessary now because several people have reported that cheating your skill back down and up does not give a milestone. That used to work.

It's your game. Only you can decide that. If it's uninteresting or not fun for you, cheat it. Legitimacy doesn't matter in this game because there's no online leader board or official competition. If you prefer, you can download a sim off the gallery with all of the traits already and customize them how you see fit. I have one under gallery id charitycodes. I even save the Super Sim family out at each stage starting with infant. Skip the stages you don't like.

It's probably the huge fountain that surrounds the lot. You have to pay for each tile of water. It also has some really nice appliances that are pretty expensive. My super sim family has millions of Simoleons though, so it doesn't matter for them.

I'm not sure. I haven't tried to have broken or burnt things from the gallery. It's a cool idea though. You can also add the gremlin's lot challenge and just sleep through midnight to break everything. Start a fire with some indoor fireworks to burn some things. I like run down places and renovating them in the Sims.
