[EDIT] As of June 2021 (and then later November 2021), VHL has been significantly buffed. It's still not faster than UCM, but it's no longer 1/5 the speed. Waste of time? Waste of time.

The thing with DoT is that it deal about 74% of its dps as dot, which doesn't benefit from item boosts, and the fact that it shows up on a few of these makes me wish AE just "fixes" dots and hots to work with item boosts.

Also absolutely impressive performance on your client. How to get that still responsive fps even if animations are turned on?
Nothing. The boss shields are still active. They are soft caps that reduce damage, not hard caps. I get good fps by just having a good processor. I usually play in 4k, but will go down to 1080p to guarantee smooth fps on some fights. In those cases, I can enable party animations too.
