Thanks for this helpful video. Generally I speed up the videos but in the history of mankind I had to slow it😄
excellent
Hello there - I have a little bit of an issue and wanted to know if you could help me. I have the same setup lab you have in the video and using the same commands as you on eve-ng with this image version Model: vqfx-10000 Junos: 20.3R1.8 limited. and also this version Junos: 18.1R3-S5.3 limited but for some weird reason when I issue the command show interface terse I don't see the xe-0/0/x interfaces showing up

good video friend, I would like to know how to separate my vlans so that once created they cannot see each other, since I suffered an attack and I want to segregate them, can you help me.
awesome video, thank you.
excellent. thank you.
Great Video only 1 problem text is very small and when you expand video it is all blurry.
Hi, is there any LAB to create VRRP for each VLAN using irb interfaces. you can use one EDGE switch connect to two upstream. VRRP can be possible on Switch ? Thank you
We havent done a lab on it but yeah, that's exactly how you would do it. Extend the vlan between the switches so you have an incomplete triangle to prevent a loop, but with working VRRP using IRB interfaces.
awesome stuff , thank you for making this
Welcome! We are trying our best to find time for more content. Hopefully soon!
Awesome, thanks for a very helpful video.
Whats the alternative to redistribute connected in vrf in cisco. I have a similar config but no pe-ce protocol just connected interfaces and they don’t get advertised
Ot will be from protocol direct. That will include all UP interfaces and their networks.
Excellent. Thank you.
What is this Juno’s version !?
Why are we having a 1g interface pointing to a 10g interface ? Working in an ISP I have never seen it set up like that as you would be physically limiting the link on the 1g side.
This is in a virtual lab, where those are the only interfaces available. This is not representative of the interfaces you'll use in the real world and is not of importance in this tutorial. The main focus should be the config.
i'd recommend increasing the terminal font... this is way to small on high res screens lol
Yeah, sorry about that. Our later videos have the font size increased by quite a bit. Didnt realize at the time it would be that small :(
Absolutely amazing content!
Much appreciated!
I was in a pinch and this video saved me. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Can we configure multiple irb interfaces in Junos?
Yeah, you can configure up to 4095 IRB interfaces on most Junos devices
Hi, I made the same topology as you just with no firewalls, only VMX devices. I configured everything, have the same show | display set results, I have OSPF connection between DCs and their loopback, I set ip addresses on PCs but the ping between them doesn't work. Do you have any suggestions for how to resolve this? And on "show bridge mac-table" I have only the local PC MAC address. Is there some pre-configuration I might have missed or something?
Nice video. We keep learning and watch your videos. Thanks you
So nice of you, thanks!
Great video / explanation 👏
Thank you! 👍
Thanks great video, can you please share list of commands in a file.
Great tutorial. Please make terminal font bigger for next tutorials. Thanks!
Will do!
Brilliant video. Very well explained.
Many thanks!
Thanks
What is the purpose of putting vlan-id XX within the routing-instance configuration?
Hi please tutor VLAN Juniper SRX
Oh, and thank you for the extremely professional presentation. No loud, stupid distracting music!
Excellent tut!
Awesome stuff. Been several years since I heard or spoke Junos. I have to get back into it. I love Juniper!
I really really like this lab sesion, I really want to contact you, please give me your gmail or facebook. Tks a lots
Useful information, keep it up.
Awesome explanation!! keep up the good work.
Can we use GNS3 For Juniper Routing and switching Practical lab
Yeah, you can indeed. It's similar to EVE where you use virtual routers and would work just as well.
Thanks for simplifying it.
Fantastic content! I’ve subscribed. Clear, concise and to the point. Best content is like this in my opinion. I’ve not used JUNOS since version 12, So the IRB configuration was confusing me. The books I have show it for a different purpose and I was using VLANS with the inet configuration on. That means previous configs didn’t work, so thanks.
Excellent tutorial and explanation!!! I love it so much! It is really helpful and useful, greatly appreciates!! Thank you very much, sir! ❤👍🤝
After following this procedure, I'm getting an error while committing i.e., 'l3-interface vlan.10' "Interface must already be defined under {edit interfaces]" Please help me with this. I'm using the EX3300 switch. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
If you specify vlan.10 as the interface under vlans then you need to configure an interface vlan.10 under edit interfaces as well. The EX3300 uses IRB interfaces as well so just make everything irb.10 instead of vlan.10 and it should work.
What is that software tool you are using to diagram this?

Eve-NG yeah 👍
Great explanation man!
Glad you liked it!
Can you tell me which lab is this that you are using to demonstrate?
Hi, we are using EVE-NG for all our virtual images.
May I know juniper os version that you have used for vxlan configuration.
The QFX images are running 20.4, but it works in the lab on 19.4 as well.

Explained very well!
Glad you liked it
good tutorial. what you use software simulator?
Thanks! We use EVE-NG for the labs.
Yes, you're back!
Will be trying to upload more consistently! Work life took a crazy turn the last few months :(
