Hoe about we just go to the canaries and visit the montains now and then...to get back to the beach as soon as we get fed up and wet
Put Hand warmers in your socks
you know what they call backcountry hiking in the yukon? hiking 😅
Your voice makes me want to step on nails
❤❤❤you are a bad ass❤❤
It's not cold enough if you can take off your jacket during night..
Ya it’s called a king mattress and it’s in my bedroom
I just put the warm bottle by my feet. I've drank warm water to get warm, after getting very cold, when my air mattress went flat. Thanks for sharing your secrets.
Technically your abdomen is the proper place as all of your major arteries and veins are located there. We give hot water bottles to women who have just delivered a baby and their feet are cold, it warms them up quickly. Another trick is wear thin layers to bed as thick layers will compress your sleeping back insulation, wear a tuque and don’t breath in your sleeping bag. Also when ever you get a chance dry your sleeping bag in the sun, black interiors work best for this. The longest I’ve slept in Arctic conditions using these tricks was just over 5 weeks near Coppermine NT in temps down to -50C.
Give outdoor boys his props ya know he did it first
Im a 5'11 woman. Xtra long everything 😂 do you camp alone? I need to learn more about safety. Worried about perves and bears
Totally gonna use this rn even if im not camping
What tent is that?
Very good tips, i concur.
This is now on our bucket list
another thing to consider is that bags retain heat but its you thats producing it. move ur big muscle groups by doing squats, press ups and crunches/sit ups before getting into the bag, and the heat produced by the muscle metabolism will heat up the bag
I'm right there with you about cold feet! 9 times out of 10 if I wake up with cold feet, I'm not getting back to sleep that night no matter what.
I’m an archaeologist and I do this in the summer with cold water too! Back when I was drinking it was a 40 of Mickey’s. It feels soo good!
“A luxurious 3 inches” said no one ever.
This girl apparently has never slept on on it more then once as that pad is garbage
Seams came unglued for me after being used in Arizona summer even with an ac in tent now can’t use it won’t hold air 😪 I got the z lite pad currently I like it glad it worked out for ya wish it did for me that thing pretty cozy
Consider adding an eye mask, which will also reduce the amount of heat loss from your face.
Can't agree more ....worth every penny
put the bottle in your bag 15 mins before you get in and you’ll have it preheated for you
Me: I’ll just stay home😅
I put those heating pads that you shake in my shoes and under my armpit and they keep me warm all night
How old are you? Did the 2 of you have even 18
If your bottle leaks you’re wet with no means of drying or staying warm without sitting by the fire - not smart in cold night when you’re wet. And that’s best case scenario in this situation. People, *DO NOT DO HER WATER BOTTLE IDEA!!!* It softens your bottle, then makes the tritan brittle over time. Your bottle becomes brittle over time doing this, then can easily break and you’re left with burns, in the bush, in the cold, in the middle of the night. This is one of the most foolish camping ‚hacks‘ I’ve heard. There are purpose built chemical and solar powered heaters designed to keep you warm in your bag at night that are safe and won’t burn you. For your safety, Use *Those!*
Smart
Thanks you so much. I have a lot of pain and staying warm is one of the things that help but the bag with warm water only heats one spot (and I have to wait with pain until I stop feeling cold) . This for sure will help.
I want to camping with you same location 😊❤❤❤
Which msr tent is that? The double pad with no gap is clutch
I saw one yt host do exercises, maybe jumping jacks?, briefly before turning in.
My husband and I originally slept in the back of our suv. We got a full size blow up camping mattress, it was "too big" but managed to blow it up to fit. Using a battery operated, hand held, pump. Worked well for us.
Damn, those wet socks at the end 😦😨🥶🥴I'd die from the cold 🥶
Nalgene?
I'm happy your account was recommended to me. I'm glad to get camping advice from another woman. 😊
I've just got a Dune single mattress these days, i don't hike in to places so its worth it. And with a camping quilt and real pillow... Sleep like a baby
What tent is that
Remember in colder climates never go to bed with a full bladder so don't drink anything at least two to three hours before you go to bed it takes way more body heat just stay warm with a full bladder especially if you're sleeping in a truck box
I used an emergency blanket, cut up, wrapped around my hips (put them in my pants) i did the same for my feet 3 socks and the strips of emergency blankets went into one of those layers. Forgot which layer but one worked and the other didn’t.
Soooo basically you're just copying and reposting Luke from outdoor boys method and claiming it's your idea, got it. 🤡
What cooking equipment do you use
I learned this trick from outdoor boys, I also learned to never sweat cause you will be colder
I’m poor and this is how I stay warm
What kind of tent is that?
You should strip down and then get into your sleeping bag. Your body heat needs to be able to circulate in order to keep you warm. Too many clothes will absorb the heat and diffuse it.
Over knee wool socks are my best hack. The ones made for fly fishing waders have lasted the longest for me.
Cayenne pepper in food or water..... Will keep you 🥵 warm throughout the night. Trust me. Don't ask how i know. Just sayin' folk's 😁
Why do all these people sound exactly the same
