Imagine being almost 40 years old trying to show your son this video. I just did that and he's like "yea.. nice pixels dad!" then he looked at me like I'm a loser. Kids these days will never understand how amazing Deftones was in their prime. Deftones was the reason I didn't become the first school shooter in history. Kids that grew up in the 80s didn't get offended. We just listened to this as loud as humanly possible until we were content with our pathetic lives. 😎

Hello 2020!

My completely subjective opinion is that it's a perfectly serviceable cover but there's not much to it in terms of anything new or innovative. The styles aren't entirely that dissimilar either but I will say the drumming here doesn't quite measure up to the original. Overall a solid B effort. If the band enjoyed making the cover and others enjoy it, that's all that matters. But personally I'll stick with the original.
