I was about to buy some DCS stuff cause I wanted to get back into flight sims. Asked for some module advice on a server and got told to save both money and sanity and look this up. Spent 7dollars and downloading BMS as we speak. Im so impressed on what they managed to do with a game from 1998.

Has the F-110 engine sound been added to this simulator yet? If so, could you explain how to do it?

Almost purchased a DCS F-16, then I saw this. Just waiting on some hall sensors for my HOTAS then I'll be back in the seat of the BMS F-16.

Best F-16 sim on the market, DCS is not that imersive on falcon and I'm glad for that. If I dream to something is ... cockpit interior , I wish to lock at in DCS

I keep dreaming about BMS getting a new terrain system without tiles .....

I just discovery this sim and his awesome but i ses on you TH-cam Chanel dont have tutoriel for new player in this universe (important keybindings and things like that)

At this point the BMS team could do their own standalone game lol. Recently I got rid of a x52 hotas cuz is very bad but I don't have the money right now to spend in a proper HOTAS setup (I want VKB). So sad I cannot try BMS

Amazing, soooo amazing, I love Falcon BMS!!! I've been flying it non-stop on just the dogfights alone and some Custom TEs I made! I really hope you release 4.38, please please please!!! So excited! Can't wait for it to come! I was a former Free Falcon user, then Allied Force came, joined the 72nd VF wing before, then stopped for awhile (10 years or so), and now back on Falcon. It's been amazing. Such a HUUUGE improvement from Falcon 4 Allied Force.

Hi. Bms runs really smooth but FPS takes randomly takes a nose dive and never recovers while dcs runs fine in vr. Using quest 2 with usb c. Any help? As I'd rather be playing bms over dcs. Thanks

Thank you and thank you , I remember going from Tucson az to get this simulation back in 1998 , 2 hr back in /from , it changed my life ,I had so much enjoyment specially with the campaign, even got my privet license pilot but things changed in life and I had to stop and be a business owner to support bills, life , my happy place in my mind has always been on that f16 taking off from the east Korea base and being in there doing my perimeter AA , Im glad this is still a thing

Love it, but having a lot of issues in play!

It will probably be an unpopular opinion but I wish the team would just stick with the F-16. It's an F-16 sim, always has been and imho always should be. I hope it will be possible to improve the VR control, as the current one is rather awkward - at least i find it so - and it has stopped me flying for now, though I still have my nose in the manuals etc. Enabling the likes of Point Control would be a game changer, but unlikely due to the slow production and long waiting times for it to become mainstream. Hand tracking in VR would be a great alternative. Well done, chaps!

Please drop some more info on the terrain update. Based on this video it would appear to be about a year behind schedule? Understand it's a mammoth task, but I also think it's going to be one of the most significant updates in the sim's history in terms of bringing new players onboard.

Thank you for giving us a proper full-fidelity F-15 cockpit. I understand Falcon 4.0 is an F-16sim so you really didn’t have to, but I love being able to properly use my STECS in a sim aircraft.

Quite a bit different than the first version of Falcon 4.0. I read that manual probably half a dozen times because my 386 couldn't handle the beefy requirements and had nothing else to do until I had a better computer.

My dad helped produce Falcon 4.0 back when it origianly came out

well. dcs are shity russ agresors. so is good when in the west do something. but this is 10years back in enviroment, and also plane textures are lower then dcs.

Well, yah, but Eagle Dynamics are working on the DCS F-16 to add more features to the Sniper Pod and fix a bunch of stuff with the INS and weapons that are currently screwed up. Also, the Sniper Pod is still broken in DCS but it may be less broken than before. To assert that Falcon BMS is better than the DCS F-16 would require turning a blind eye to the fact that DCS will be just as good as BMS in about 30 years from now. Of course, everything will still be in early access then and mostly still broken. How about those cloud shadows in DCS tho! I don't know about you guys, but I'll take awesome cloud shadows over more accurate, fully functioning sensor pods and weapons. Besides, missiles are stupid anyway according to real fighter pilots on the DCS forums.

Im back from dcs to bms and loving it but how you are getting that good in graphics? I have maxed out my graphic settings as much i have in the menu.

As a DCS user, I always look at the tremendous progress of BMS with some envy.

Mind blowing! Modders should get much more recognition. With HiRes mod the graphics are amazing, unbelievable it’s all free. Respect 🫡

Good job, I might even consider trying it out instead of flying only DCS after the terrain gets some polish as well.
