Teams play කලේ game එකක්. අද ඒ තත්ත්වය වෙනස්. ඉසිපතන match එකකදි opposite team එකට, supportets ලට unethical pressure එකක් ඉසිපතන spectators ලගෙන් එනව. කුනුහරුප කියන, ගහගන්න යන කැත culture එකක්. අද මේ කියන වරද ඉසිපතන team එකටත් බෝ වෙලා. ඇස් වලට attack කරන එක, පයින් ගහන එක ගැන publish වෙච්ච clips ඕන තරම් තියෙනව. Junior team එකත් එහෙමයි. මේ season එකේ junior matches වලදි පොඩි ලමයි තමන්ගේ opposite side වලට ගැහුව. කව්ද මේව කියල දෙන්නෙ. මොනවද මේවට කරපු දඩුවම්. දැන් මේක strategy එකක් වෙලා. මේවට ඉසිපතන teachers, SDS, old boysලත් responsible. වරදවල් කරන්න promote කිරීම. Game එකක් කියන්නෙ බොහොම discipline තිබියයුතු දෙයක්. Team එකක් spectators එක්ක ගිහින් අනික් අයව පාගල දාන්න උත්සාහ කිරීම නෙමෙයි. Talented team එක දිනනව. මේ පාරත් උනේ ඕකයි. ලංකාවේ rugger තව ටික කාලෙකින්ම rural areas වලටත් යනව. ඒ අතරින් හොඳ playersල බිහිවේවි... Real players ල. එතකොට ලංකාවට හොඳ national team එකක් හැදේවි. අද ඉසිපතන rugger culture එකෙන් වෙන්නෙ social imbalance එකක්. විනයක් නැති සමාජයකට උල්පන්දම් දීමක්.

The Bionic Man, Hisham Abdeen effortlessly caught/tackled star players in the caliber of Chandrishan Perera, Simon Hunter, the fierce Fijians/Samoans and other foreign players with his blistering speed runs/techniques. Hisham Abdeen was faster than some of the Key Wingers & Centers in the line, although his main role of play was in the position as Flanker in the pack. Whenever, there was a scrum close to the oppositions try line then Hisham Abdeen, switches positions from Flanker to No:08 and in many occasions, he scored a try through his fiery power play, which is still unmatched to-date.
