The current-gen #TREK #Roscoe 7 is a fantastic bike. Period. It’s a new frame with updated geometry and presents the perfect segway into the world of family mountain biking. Upgradeability is vital to the Roscoe 7. Budget is essential when considering #MTB, especially when you’re a #family of 4. I decided to save some money and get as much value as possible by purchasing some used components for half the price of MSRP. If you’re like me and you remain patient, you can score some good deals off the #PNW Components Loam 2 lever and the Gen 3 35mm Range handlebars. I usually see them throw around 20% off sales all throughout the year. Worldwide Cyclery is another good option for the budget-conscious MTB family. As of the recording of this video, they have an incredible 15% off sale going on that the Shimano Deore 6120’s are included in! I honestly believe that the #Shimano Deore BL-M6100 / BR-M6120 Hydraulic Disc Brake and Lever setup is undervalued and an excellent “budget” setup.
