Twenty Years! - A Song I Wrote For My Wife
Twenty Years ago today, I married my 19 year old girlfriend. We were just kids. We didn't have a plan, but we had dreams of a family. By the grace of God we are in that season now, trying to savor the moment. Betsy was my first girlfriend, and to this day she remains the only girl I've ever kissed. She still has my heart! She has patiently waited over the last few years, as I've written songs for our boys and both of my parents. Now it's her turn again. Take a minute to help me celebrate my girl!

The greatest privilege one can be born with, has nothing to do with money or skin color. Instead, it's having a Father and Mother that love each other, and love you unconditionally. I have this been this fortunate, and am celebrating my parents in writing them this song. They laid down their dreams to raise us, and this has paid off greater than winning any life lottery! Awesome coin! You put a lot of effort into this and its put together well. Well done.
@jayburns7962 thanks Brother 😊
Nice n cosy
Could've just kept it simple and cut like 4 blocks of foams and place them on each contact side..
@@BzBlade could have, but this was more funner, and it looks more gooder 🙃
Hi A H Have a question I hope you will/can answer? I have a 20 foot long canoe that I plan to build 2 Parton for. Have seen that it is possible to use large kites for propulsion on ships! So my question is, how big a kite do you think I should use for my kan canoe? Greetings Jesper from Denmark
I'm surprised the hornets didn't notice the drone behind the slaughter .
Yeah, I was kind of hoping they would swarm the drone even before I cut into the nest
This is the first time I've ever seen a hive/nest on the very top branch of a tree like that
Yeah, me too. I'm glad its that high. I felt like I could mess with it without getting stung
An old credit card or a gift card works great to smooth Bondo and drywall mud in small areas, I like how realistic you are and not making your patch look better than the rest of the door. Looks great! And saved several hundreds of dollars by not replacing them.
Thanks! An old credit card sounds like a good trick!
Well executed tutorial. I appreciate the knowledge of using foam as a backing. Thank you and all the best from New Rochelle N.Y.
Thanks for watching!
Curious to know if you could post an update! How is it holding up 2 years later?
@@akdomun it's great! Still no rust🙌
3:38 is exactly me. Except you exercised self control whereas I probably wouldn't!

We had a bow rider as well and decided after adopting 4 kids (3-9) the pontoon was such a better decision. Giving these kids the life they would have never had before was the best decision we’ve ever made. Keep making memories on the water. Your family will never forget them.
Love this!
I have a lot of experience using spray foam having to seal pvc chases or conduits if you will, that are run from lets say one room to another room, under the floor and pop up out of the floor on both ends, with about 4 inches above floor exposed that could get water or something else in it if you don't foam both ends. This stuff works great but you have to just be aware that anything you get it on by mistake is a wrap. You even have to sit the can on something safe after you finish spraying with it because the pressure inside the can causes it to still come out of the tube even though you're no longer spraying it. Also it does not wash off your hands, it'll be there for a week, turning a darker color each day. If it gets on your favorite shirt, that shirt just became a work shirt. It does not wash out of clothes. It expands like crazy, so its easy to over use it. If you are using it to seal just the end of some type of tube, stuff the inside of the tube about 2 inches deep with like newspaper to stop the foam from sinking into the tube when you spray it. By the next day the foam becomes as hard as a soft rock.
Very good video
Thanks!
Cool! is the remote rugged?
@igorsrecords5185 yeah it is!
Good basic how to. Thanks.
GR8 vid!!! I've had 7 boats over the last 40 years...if you learn to do your routine maintenance, you'll save a TON of money and enjoy your boats always! I was given a boat by my dad, and it turned into a money pit because it wasn't maintained real well. Now that I've replaced the floor, the consoles, and ALL the wiring in it, all work done by yours truly, and it's the fishing rig I've always dreamed of, I need to sell it due to declining health issues. We have in it's place, done like you did, and just bought a 2004 20' pontoon and LOVE it!!! I can fish off it just fine, and can move around on it just fine...when the day wears on ya, you can take a nap very easily!!! One of the guys I follow out west here even guides off a pontoon the same size as mine, so I feel I'm in the right place and time for getting ours. Congrats on your boating!!!
Thanks Brother!
What specs is your pontoon

Nice
Snug as a bug in a rug , TIDY.
2 years has it held up. Bondo on a car with rust, it will come back up.
Great story!
Nice work buddy!!
@@STEVENBOSSLER thanks!
What a shame to destroy this instrument in this way.
@grantmontana763 Yea, painful to watch.😞
Hey man, Thanks for watching. I can understand where you're coming from. If it were a 1920's Martin, you may have a point. Even if the back weren't shattered, it was unplayable. Besides, this was what his Nephew asked of me. I think George would be happy to have people remember him in this way.
What a story! Wish there was recordings of his music… maybe a collection is starting of George Wright’s history 👍
You sold me on my first board. I loved snow boarding but hate the cold. This looks awesome and I appreciate seeing someone close to my age using it.
Can I take this 3 miles to the store on imperfect roads, unavoidable cracks of an inch sometimes, fill a backpack w groceries, and ride back? I’m in the heart of downtown and if so it can be my transpo. But a back-ack may make impossible to balance
3 miles no problems. The cracks may make things stressful
"Nice!"
Thanks!
Very cool!!
🙌
I just got an 1817 but no over strike. Yours id very cool.
Making fun childhood memories. Great parents.
Thanks! We're trying
Nice work, tge tin drawers are for bread or veggies ( potatoes, onions) ....i'd polish that chrome detail too
I love the spray foam as mold material. I’ve even used it in a headliner to fill in recesses I hadn’t wanted anymore.
I have used it for so many things
are you able to fly with it by jumping?
You gave me hope that I might actually be able to repair this ancient old road case my stepfather left me when he passed. It had a 62 Fender Stratocaster in it that rattled around. It also put (for lack of a better term) an adhesive residue on the neck of the guitar. I got the guitar cleaned up and it rests in a new case. I have kept this case knowing I would eventually find a way to repair it. I initially reached out to the manufacturer but they wouldn't return any kind of emails or phone calls asking about repairing the interior of this extremely heavy metal exterior road case. Now I think I have a couple more things to figure out before trying this. 1 I have to clean out the old interior so if I use the Strat for a mold like you did I will somehow need to raise the guitar off the bottom of the case in order to "foam the bottom". 2 will this raise the guitar and should I also weigh it down somehow? 3 what do I do with the top of the case? And 4 what kind of fuzzy stuff do I cover this new interior with? You gave me hope now I just need to answer some questions. Thank you!
If it's crazy but it works, then it's not crazy. Looks good. Great job. I had a similar idea. Glad to know it works ahead of time.
That's right. The case still fits like a glove. Rock solid
What glue did you use, and what felt did you buy?
High temp hot glue. For the felt, I went to the fabric store and found what I thought matched the best. I don't have a brand name for you sorry.
Love your video, What a Great Dad! These are the memories they will remember forever.
How much drops of hardner did you use?
Follow the can, but what I said in the video is that I used 35 drops for a golf ball size portion of bondo. I am accustomed to the regular bondo hardener that is more like toothpaste. The liquid hardener that comes with the metal reinforced is a new thing for me
Just fixed my rusty, leaky mailbox with Bondo, thank you so much for the how-to!
Happy to help!
Such a cool piece!
We purchased a 20 year old Voyager Pontoon. I fixed a few minor things
Good luck with it!
Been a dam good pontoon like new polished the toons and interior all new.
Bro raked wild leaves. I strive to be this level of middle class. 🤣
This will be fine for a while but eventually the foam will hold moisture behind and cause a wider rust patch down the road.
I was about to start doing this, then I saw you needed a bandsaw lol I haven't used a band saw in like 10 years since I was a machinist in Alaska working for a salmon processing company.
I uses a scroll saw. (Less fire power than a band saw) I have seen folks heat up the records first and then cut with a scissors. That seemed harder to me
Greetings from a Tiny Island in Maine, USA We just had 2 of those days…we bought our 1st pontoon boat (very happy) and sold our old bow rider boat that we had for 16 fantastic years (also really happy). Both are used bow rider was 10 yo and toon is 4 yo. Fair winds.
is it necessary to put on the'\" RUST REFORMER INSTANLY PROTECED PAINTABLE SURFACE " ?
probably not. I felt like it couldn't hurt
I bought a 2006 sun tracker 22ft party barge. It’s has been the best, low maintenance, engine has worked flawless. Haven’t have to really work about winterizing in Texas (Austin) , only had to change the prop and oil ect basic maintenance
