Football Heroes (iOS, Android) - Kickstarter Trailer
Football Heroes is an independently-developed, hard-hitting, fast-paced arcade football game for mobile devices (iOS and Android), reminiscent of classic sports games like Tecmo Bowl and NBA Jam.
In Football Heroes you are tasked with building the ultimate football team. Then you take them online to battle your friends and foes or play head-to-head over Wi-Fi. For single player, there's "Division Play", where you battle against cunning AI to conquer each division.
No matter how you play, your players will gain XP every time they do something awesome with our RPG leveling system. Run for five yards? Catch a pass? Knock a player out with an uppercut? Score the winning touchdown? Your players will gain XP and eventually level up. When your players level up, their base abilities increase and unlock powerful new moves like: Spinning Fists, Ground Pounds, Flaming Passes, Speed Boost, Lock-On Tackles, Oil Slicks and many, many more.
Football Heroes also features a robust fighting engine, with standard punch and kick attacks supplemented with powerful moves and special abilities that counter each other in interesting ways, adding tons of replayability and strategy.

I was capturing some footage of older games I worked on and decided to run Chrono Resurrection in HD resolution. Please note that this scene was totally incomplete and was in its infancy of development. That being said, the lighting looked pretty dope for something roughed in!

Plays up to the beginning of Zenan Bridge. There will be a second video showing more battles, Zombor, and Magus whenever I have time to capture it. For those asking, this project was canned years ago. Enjoy!

Meanwhile in an alternate universe, Square Enix joined the guy making Chrono Resurrection and they helped him let his project see the light of day.

I've been waiting so long for resurrection content. I just heard you had to shut it down. Chrono trigger was a masterpiece and I think you captured the same magic. Resurrections was great Nathan thank you very much.

This is breathtaking, I wish I'd known about it sooner.
I still cling on to the idea that maybe even after the cease and desist, you still completed the entire project and kept it for yourself. That way, at least I know it exists in its truest form. I just want a proper remake of this game today. 😞
This fan game could only have done Square Enix good in the end. A travesty that we didn't get to enjoy it. Mean while they lost the source code and assets to their entire ps1 era Final fantasy games. Punk ass publisher.

With FF6, chrono trigger is my best memory of that era, one of shinyiest diamond of the super Nintendo. More than 20 years after, we are still waiting for a remake... It will arrive, for sure, for now it's lost in time...
I'm glad the remake hasn't been done yet, now is the time, now we got the tech. This looks awful and stiff.

this failed project, square promess to release this game for the 3ds but the they tosses the snes version insted. this game has been dead.
Waited 30 years to see Crono’s clingy cat in 3D ... and It’s a Fox? .... but i know I’m among legions who really wanted to play this. I think they would have evolved this to get away from the final fantasy style battle and return more to the original game style fighting , as technology would quickly allow.

@aua ✓ Well, it's true! All that idiot ever did, was try to take the Chrono Cross fame for himself, to showcase his graphics. What a wasteman. He ranks up there with the folks who make those GTA "mods" to show off their so called work, to rail in attention. It's creepy when written on paper. What do they want? That's the mentality that makes predators, so GOOD!

It's been 13 years and it still looks and sounds amazing, what a great job Nathan and the entire team involved in CT Resurrection. I am curious if you have received a letter or comment from the original CT team, I would like to know if they liked this project or not.
