As you already know, Workspace API will not help in manipulating over Property Sets and Organizer. For that purpose you need to look into: 1) Organizer API: app.swaggerhub.com/apis/Trimble-Connect/org-prod/v1 2) PSet service: app.swaggerhub.com/apis/Trimble-Connect/pset-prod/v1 Both are nicely wrapped in www.npmjs.com/package/trimble-connect-sdk But to use them, you have to register your application as a Trimble Connect Developer. This way, you will get API credentials needed to move further.

Exactly! That's one of the use-cases which I wanted to achieve. There are many utility tools which can be build in Grasshopper to help in day-to-day Tekla work. But users usually wants to have simple UI, with just one button to run the script. That's the purpose for Grasshopper Application.

Hi, it should work for Rhino 8. You have to pick needed version from combobox on the right side of textbox with definition path and restart the tool. Grasshopper Application triggers Rhino during startup. If something is not working, please raise new issue on: github.com/LetsConstructIT/Grasshopper-TeklaDrawingLink/issues

Thanks :) I looked very quickly and it seems that custom properties can be retrieved with different API: app.swaggerhub.com/apis/Trimble-Connect/pset-prod/v1 For the existing connector I used model API: app.swaggerhub.com/apis/Trimble-Connect/model/v1 Currently I don't have time to modify the existing flow. But I want to leave that to comment to mark a beacon for eventual future development.

Unfortunately no :/ For Trimble Connect 3D viewer, I would need to develop Custom Visualization in Power BI. I've tried, but without success due to technical problems. I hope, that this development will stimulate Trimble to do it in a comprehensive way, but that's only my hope :) For now, it's just the data.

Hmm, with Flask/Django you could try, but the interaction layer between your application and Trimble API will be laying completly up to you. A lot of work. In my opinion it's better to dive a little deeper into JavaScript world and utilize it's power for web development.

Hi, I have edited the previous answer (it was incomplete as you suggest). I checked what have to be done, more DLLs needs to be copied into Libraries directory. Please follow previous answer. I have to think about better approach in the next version.

Hi, for Tekla 2024 you should paste needed Tekla DLL's into the same directory as the Drawing Link.gha (usually %AppData%\Grasshopper\Libraries ). This is the same story as for the Live Link. 1) Download from GitHub 2) Unblock file (right-mouse-click, properties, unblock, ok) 3) Copy from Tekla bin\: Tekla.Structures.Drawing.dll Tekla.Structures.Model.dll Tekla.Structures.dll Tekla.Structures.Datatype.dll Trimble.Remoting.dll Tekla.Technology.Serialization.dll DotNetKit.dll

Hi, in Tekla 2024 there was a change in the loading mechanism of Tekla dlls. If you are using the official (model) Live-Link then it should do the hard work for you. If not, you should manually copy Tekla.Structures.Drawing.dll file from C:\TeklaStructures\2024.0\bin (or your custom path) to %AppData%\Grasshopper\Libraries (or another place where you put DrawingLink_2024.gha file.

I don't have an access to this Tekla version so can't try it. Arc objects and radius annotations could be added. I will add them to the waiting list, but there are other things with higher priority (Tekla 2024 and Grasshopper component for the drawing space). Weld marks support is very limited in the Tekla Open API. Open an issue on GitHub and let's have a talk there :)

Hi! There are two options to annotate objects: 1) You can use the Associative Note component together with the Mark Attributes. For the Mark Attributes there is only one obligatory input - Drawing Object which is needed to narrow the scope of attributes (part/rebar/bolt). The first one, which you mentioned, is optional, it could be used to modify existing attributes. 2) Go with the Mark component, which needs the object for which you want to insert the mark and the name of attributes file (like in the save/load UI in Tekla). This mark will be inserted slower, with the help of Tekla macro, but it is what the users are familiar. Usually, associative notes are not used.
