How does the red dot feel without the back sight? Do you have any adjusting to do to stay on target? Do you have problems zeroing the RDS? I’m bummed that all the other models have the rear sights separate from the plate. I’m thinking the scs320 is perfect for this thing since it’s low on the slide. I’m new to this shit and this config you got is exactly what I’m looking at getting

The movement of the reticle or dot on your optic is referred to as parallax. Most good quality red dot optics on the market are made to be parallax free, which means that even if you cant the optic and the reticle is not in the center that your point of aim and point of impact will not be affected. I use red dots on all my pistols and rifles and can attest to this. Also as an CA x5 legion owner I would leave the magazine disconnect off especially if it fell off on its own because it could cause a malfunction in the future. Just a personal preference.

Just leave it off. I replaced the whole sear housing on my m18 with a non ca and now u cant tell if its a CA fcu unless u run the serial number lol

I think that you are right with the seize. It depends also how tall you are and the seize of your hands and not only the wrist

What was the overhaul cost?

I love this watch. The tech is so cool. I heard about accutron from TGV some years ago. They have a museum in New York I would like to visit.

This my first luxury watch. It’s a beautiful watch, but the crown was hard to get to, the watch was top heavy, and no micro adjustments and I changed the strap to an Artem sailcloth blue with white stitching. It made it lighter but took that flashy part away. I then added a Rolex submariner Starbucks and it feels just right on the wrist. I couldn’t see myself selling my an omega. The butterfly clasp sucks. My Grand Seiko has no micro adjustments either. Tudor is getting better on their bracelets like the Pro and Pelagos both I have as well

Went to Cartier intending to buy this blue one in medium. Tried it on and several others but walked away with the classic white. All beautiful pieces.

Great Pam, but Panerai has done some shady cost cutting. Although this reference in thinner and sits better on wrist. They skimped out on hacking, and in later versions of this reference added a closed case back. Plus I’m sure there was a price increase at retail since the previous reference 312. The PAM 312 movement did have hacking seconds and I believe quick set hour similar to GMT movements on some other brands. Personally this for me is the best all around PAM you can get. I don’t care much for hacking seconds since it’s not a chronometer spec watch. Then again some of the most expensive Patek Philippe or JLC are non hacking so the hacking or non is a personal choice. I good either way. Arguably there are pros and cons to hacking vs non hacking movements. But that gets into the engineering aspect of movement durability and watch maker debate. I say enjoy it and wear it. It’s expensive yes but very different from most other watches. Cheers enjoy

my damn contact piece on the board that the trigger hits to register a shot broke or fell off so now its just a button and no metal piece for the trigger to hit. anybody know what that pice is called and if i cand just get that instead of buying a whole new board??????

I like the 1861 version better, the white is more popping, looks bigger, and I have it on leather and if it saved Apollo 13 back to Earth then all that other specs are irrelevant lol. I also own the 43mm Navitimer, maybe you should consider Breguett Type 20 or 21?

I have a 2005 reverse panda 41 mm. 30 meters is perfectly fine. I wouldn't drive a 911 on a dirt track so why wear a pilots watch into a pool etc? Had a Speedmaster and sold it to purchase my Breitling. Speedmaster was not to my liking. Any watch with printed hour markings just feels cheep to me.

Your history is correct, although Rolex designed and built those early Panerais, and did so up until the mid 50s, Panerai simply commissioned them…modern Luminor and Radiomir are essentially vintage Rolex designs, and vintage Panerai are actually Rolex watches. It’s a rich joint history that Richemont tries to hide.

So far of all the reviews for this watch, yours was the most detailed. The 46mm looks just about right on your wrist.
