I love all the various waves and the techniques for each of them.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching each one of you paint. I can’t wait to try Korinne’s soft grey/pink flowing gratitude scene 🌸
I love everyone’s flowers. All so beautiful. Korinne’s is so mystical and dreamy. I’ll have to see what I can create.
Enjoyed the replay of 3 artists painting simultaneously! Definitely learned some new things & it was fun hearing the chit chat amongst you!
3 screens are ok, I would like to see reference photos attached. Thanks
I can’t wait to find the time to make my own “Golden Glow”! FYI - This week’s challenge is mislabeled. It says Week 3 instead of Week 4.
It seems as those a step was skipped by the video before you started adding the Sunshine Yellow. The “eye” went from empty to having some color in it without any explanation. Would you let me know what you did please?
Hi Laurie and Teri, I just finished watching your video from this morning. So excited to get started on mine. Just a quick comment to let you know that this week is also titled week 3 ;-). I feel like I am sitting with friends whenever I watch the two of you. Have a wonderful weekend!! Janette (pronounced Janet 🙂)
Love the fan! Use it frequently
I enjoy watching the masking and will have to give it a try. Thanks Laurie!
How fast does the masking pen dry??
I just found you on you tube! Wow, thanks on the lesson on how to do clouds.
Glad it was helpful!
OMG!! I really won???? So excited.... Thanks Laurie!!!!
You are so welcome!
Great tips! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Great presentation! Thanks!
How beautiful! I tried out alcohol ink for the first time this week. Lord have mercy what a chore! Your tips are fantastic. I might not give up after all.
Definitely don't give up!
How long do you wait to dry before you pull your image ??
I usually wait at least a minute... or when I feel the paper has bonded with paint below it, then pull. You can wait longer. If your paint is thicker, you definitely will need to wait longer.
Where do you see your prints ???
facebook.com/laurietrumpet
Wouldn't you rather use thick media paper so you cd frame it instead of extremely thin paper ???
Says this project is for collage. Teabag paper is translucent and perfect for collage work.
I'm curious- EVERYONE else I've watched insists that you must use colour laser prints for transfer even if they are in black and white. How have you had success with the mono laser prints? is it b/c you're using threshold to knock out the highs completely so there page in that section is absent of ink? I'd love to save a little cash by buying the mono laser over colour laser printer. Thanks!
Beautiful.Wish to see your lovely painting longer at the end of the video. You are so free flowing in your process...I 💕 it.
It looks awesome. ❤❤❤
this is so informative, im an alcohol artist of 8 years and i still learned a lot. you are a very good, thorough, and clear teacher. thank you.
Great info on the technique
WOW! Beautiful!!! 🌻🌟
It’s a stylus, not a stylist….🧐
Thanks so much for this informative video.
I would love to do some digital drawings in black and white, and do something like this....its so fascinating omg!!!!
Does this work on canvas? I mean how can i acheblve these amazing prints on a canvas?
Where it sell This gelprint?
Yes. It's a gel print. Sorry. It sold already.
Irresponsible use of copyrighted images by photographers without usage permission. Teach using copyright free images or public domain. Encouraging image theft will get you sued.
I mentioned in the video not to use Magazines in art for commercial uses. I know and teach about intellectual property in art. Thank you for your concern and for bringing up in comments.
Thank you! I love this video and it’s very easy to follow. Love your editing and your extra hints like using a separate brayer for the black. I will get one of the small dryers.
Glad you found it helpful!!!
So cool ❤❤❤
Thanks!
Love the way you describe things. Excellent!
Thank you! That’s my goal.
Great video
Thanks so much!!!’
My brain, it melts
How do you make image transfers? You just used a piece of paper!
Hhhhow?...
I have a full video on this process… if you want to know more!
It’s a lino print ( not sure on spelling) we use them in my give textile and art class, it’s a block that you draw a design on, and remove everything but your lines/designs. If you draw a square you carve out the inside of each face but leave the lines and add printing ink, rollers and transfer
Little different process. This uses a gelatin plate to create mono prints. I love lino prints! But this process is not as intricate.
Honest question, why not print on yellow paper? Maybe I can't see the final results close enough to tell any better?
Well. The end result is grungy and has a lot more character than printing on yellow paper. Lots of grungy texture and interest. Then, another factor is the joy and element of surprise as not two come out alike. AND its just plain fun to do! 😀
@@LaurieTrumpet thanks!
Would it be possible to get a discount code? Also, do you provide payment plans? Thank you for sharing your talent. Gentle Hugs, Stacey
I can definitely offer a 50% coupon until Oct 31st. Can you email me at art@trumpetart.com?
Ok I don’t understand how did ….what did ….. ok heading to the full video
Yes. The full video explains it!
Diy
Why does this feel like magic?
Lol! It is a little. 😂
It is, mind blown and incredible. Now I want to try it!
NEATO!
Thank you! Can this be transferred to card stock?
Yes. It can! Cardstock actually works great for this process.
Cool artwork!
thank you!
“Thanks for scrolling by” I love that!
Ha! Wondered if anyone would catch that! Have a great day!
Love that stencil! And the end results, you get a lot of texture on the paper.
Yes. This was one we did in our @exploremixedmedia love.
Nice job.
