i think you also forgot it’s a cartoon so information taken in the cartoon need to be taken with one thing in mind the creator of the show could have wanted to add thing without thinking to deep about it so it could amelia earaht but not really her plane same with the model of the plane that not only is not to dimension (that plane is way bigger then the two model you showed) but all diffence could be just artistic liberty oh and the ring on top of the plane if i remember right it’s a radio antenna

as far as I know, Amelia Earheart emptied the plane of seats and put in extra fuel tanks.

I believe the ring on the roof of the plane may have something to do with catching radio waves for communication, due to a bunch of stuff involving the ionosphere and the Earth’s electromagnetic field and how they interact with radio waves. I only know that cause of a video that discussed Amelia Earharts disappearance in detail, including how her plane was rigged up for radio communication.

I think it’s a reference to the first female pilot but everything about it is fictional. They modeled the plane off real planes from that era to make it more realistic. That is just a reference to the first female pilot and all of it is made up. It is just a movie after all. It’s not based on a true story.

I also think its good to account that people could totally survive a plane crash like that and that there were probably a lot of people originally taking an expedition to Madagascar which implies those who survived found a way out and left those who were already dead to rot into those four skeletons.
