God I love going renn Faire, used to go in North Carolina, miss it so much

the best time to buy the higher priced items is the last day of the festival. everyone is lowering their prices because its the last festival of the season and they are trying to make as much money as possible. my cousins work the archery stand. i didnt get to go this year because i cant walk much yet. back injury and alot of surgeries. working on it tho, hopeful for next year!!

Do you know how much the elephant ride price was?

The charms and trinkets are the best part of the festival, especially when you find ppl to trade with. It is becoming more about money than handmade stuff though sadly.

Two years ago I had been given a gold-painted acorn by a guy dressed as a druid, and then last year, someone gave me a tiny resin-made rubber duck. It's why I love TRF so much, it's whimsical in the best way.

Hi Tai, I think your adorable and awesome! Thank you for giving us a thorough and well filmed tour of the Texas Ren Faire. I also appreciate you giving us the pricing for the items you purchased including the food and drink. This was a lot of fun for me to watch as I have been a full fledged Ren Rat since 1991 but only get to attend the East Coast Ren Faires. I have been wanting to go to the Texas Ren Faire for years now, and I hope one day to make the pilgrimage. I have a couple of friends that moved to Houston a few years ago, so I can go with them.

The first time I went (decades ago), I ended up getting sick (warm during the day, then cold and rainy at night...I blame my friend's ex bc he got us lost so we were wandering around forever when I should have been snuggled up somewhere, resting). However, I've been back each year for the last decade on the last weekend and I love it there. Can't wait to go this year!

Hi! What day did you go, Saturday or Sunday? My husband and I went on Saturday, it was our first time attending and honestly it was so so for us. Our main reason for going was because it was Oktoberfest! But there was not a lot about it, and I was thinking it was going to be more like Oktoberfest because the website said it but it wasn’t. I even wore my dirndl, and a lot of people were dressing in their trachten, but that’s about it. Im glad you had fun!❤

I remember you! It’s honestly so refreshing to see someone enjoy something this nice alone! This is so cool so see your day at the faire I’m glad you had fun! I’m a jester at the front gate and on my breaks I try to go enjoy the faire and just appreciate all the beautiful things and relax. It’s very relaxing when you just sit and watch!

Do you remember what time was TRF parade??

I was about to say, I've never known an airline to allow a carry on suitcase as well as a full backpack. You have one or the other, not both. When they say personal item they mean small laptop bag or handbag. You're unlikely to get your luggage lost checking it, and you get checked luggage included, so you might as well check it and not worry about it until arrival. Even if it is lost your insurance/airline will cover the cost of replacement

I like it, but I think the shots would've been better if you did more full body to see the whole costumes. You did scroll ups and full body groups but also there were a lot of only face shots or zoom ins on faces.
