N8 is a pretty versatile device. It can connect to in-car entertainment system in 5 different ways - aux, usb mass storage mode, bluetooth, fm transmitter, wifi dlna, Mixtrax (paid app) . Plus if you got a video screen on car, you can use the hdmi or video out from N8 to utilize the full potential as now you can use GPS, media player, phone, dashcam, web browser (connect wireless kb/mouse to otg) etc. pls note that the default video recorder pauses when you minimize it, so download any of the free or paid camcorder app to use N8 as a dashcam running in the background and GPS on front end. There's lot of windscreen holders available that's suitable for N8. Make sue you get one that doesn't block the camera on the rear when mounted.
