When an arrogant man is proven wrong by someone that was right. Just look at the father, he could have warned the other parents and saved two lives by listening to Johnny. Yet he did nothing but sit in his chair and drink, unable to comprehend that he could have been so wrong.

Anthony Zerbe was one of the more Shakespearean actors the US ever produced. An epic character actor that should have been in many more good films than he was. He was more often than not the guy in a half assed b film that you asked of your friend afterward - Who the f*ck was that guy?

Magnificent acting, writing and storytelling, a true classic.

From what I’ve read on TVTropes, in the Book, the Stuarts are named the Chatsworths, and Chris is named Chuck and in High School. When Johnny foresees that most of Chuck’s high school Senior class will die in a fire when the restaurant their graduation celebration is to be held in is struck by lightning, Mr. Chatsworth doesn't really believe it will happen, but humors Johnny by inviting the entire class to come to his home for an alternate party instead. Those who accept his invitation survive, while most of those who stick with the original party die horribly. Mr. Chatsworth tries to track Johnny down to give him a financial reward, and even pays off his massive amounts of medical debt. Despite this, he mentions that the money can't restore the lives lost or stop the nightmares he now suffers from. Here, in the movie, Mr. Stuart an asshole. My guess is he’s upset about how HE’s in trouble, how much money he’s going to lose in lawsuits against the boys’ parents and the fact that he may have to face time in prison.

I kinda understand why Roger was pissed off he didn’t want to be told what to do. People need to sometimes learn the hard way

Apart from the last of us the majority of the zombie genre kind of went by the wayside since 2018 and I think this is the kind of stuff that could bring it back into the spotlight, undead, fast, smart zombies (although maybe leave the damn near invincible part out)

ROTLD zombies were always the most dangerous zombies. They're intelligent, they can run, and what's worse? THEY'RE IN PERMANENT DRUG WITHDRAWAL, and you are the dragon they are literally chasing.

the zombies in this movie are the best ive seen ngl, they dont become completely brainless yet are still tougher than other zombie movies.

Is it me our in a horror movie people don't use common sense soon as he turned on those headlights and seen those zombies he should lock the doors... I knew the paramedics were dead when I first seen this movie they didn't even have a chance just like suicide walking into a zombie apocalypse.

I like how Mr. Stuart looked after the other two boys’ death. He realized Johnny was right and now he’s responsible for those other two boys’ deaths and he’s going to be in serious trouble with their families.

Christopher Walken really brought it in this movie.
