"I'm a Long Gone Daddy" is a honky-tonk anthem of heartbreak and moving on, showcasing Hank's iconic storytelling style. Known as the "Hillbilly Shakespeare," Hank is celebrated for his profound impact on country music and his ability to craft songs that touched on universal human emotions.
He was born in 1923 in Alabama and tragically passed away at just 29 in 1953, leaving behind a legacy of timeless classics like "Your Cheatin' Heart" and "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." We love them all and play a whole slew of Hank in our show.
