Annual Good Friday Procession or more commonly known as "Prusisyon ng Paglilibing". This is one of the oldest Lenten traditions of the Catholic faith. Seventy-five Holy images graced the streets of San Mateo to commemorate the Passion, Death and Resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Sayang may mga hindi pa din nakasama this year like jose barsabas justo, paglilinis ng templo, pagpipiring, ikalawang pagkadapa, pagpapako sa krus, pagkauhaw at pagbababa sa krus
Yun nga po eh. Pero sinisikap naman po ng simbahan na sa susunod na taon ay maisama na lahat ng mga hindi nakasama ngayong taon 😊

For such a very long procession, kailangan dito tres caidas, nailed to the cross at lowered from the cross.. unless at least one or two of them, if not, all of them are already part of the lineups as of 2019 pero di lang sila nakalabas

Sana for this year meron ding video. Too bad, 1st time since 2005 and 2013, hindi namin maiisama yung pagtatanggal sa krus and pangalawang pagkadapa due to some reasons. 2019 was also the year na huling nakasama ko fataher namin sa procession. Will do my best next year na maibalik yung mga tableau namin. Thank you po sa video. Very nice!!!

Kung hindi lang siguro sinuspend ng bishop ng Antipolo diocese yung processions tapos tinuloy ng parish yung processions siguro maraming vlogger ang pupunta sa San Mateo tapos irerecord nila yung procession

@@its_mainard but even if the bishop of Antipolo decided to allow the processions to go through, pretty sure the our lady of aranzazu parish may either allow or otherwise suspend the processions (surely the bishop will respect the decision of the parish priest should the parish priest decide to suspend the processions).. if the parish allowed the processions, either the processions will still be the regular holy Wednesday and good Friday processions but there will be only a few karozas that might not be participating if the camareros opted to not bring out their karozas for safety reasons or the parish may opt for a motorcade procession
@@99mrpogi uhm as per sa nadinig ko, pinatawag na yung mga Camareros ng San Mateo regarding sa Holy Week kasi mukhang itutuloy na similar with the Sto. Niño last week, nagka procession na, wala namang naging problem
@@99mrpogi actually seeing na naexcite ang mga taga san mateo, i think it will be full blown tho wala naman magagawa if ayaw ng camarero na isama. Pero kung Sto Niño and basis, definitely tuloy na tuloy given na 89 carozzas last week

@@aianmabanta5810 mahaba pa din siya compared to other parishes. Ang prayer ko lang sa inyo is lalo pang dumami ang mga camarero sa Bulakan, Bulacan para mas dumami yung mga images tuwing Holy week. :)
@@its_mainard even better.. Yung passion images or pre crucifixion nila na good friday lang nilalabas pwedeng ilabas on their holy tuesday processions. Wag lang sana ibahin ng samahan nila yung rules na gawing crucifixion/death images lang ang pwdeng ilabas on a good friday

Our Lady of the Abandoned Parish, Sta Elena, Marikina City, Metro Manila-82 floats, also the longest procession in Metro Manila.. number 5 naman is yung Cathedral of Our Lady of the Pillar/Imus Cathedral, Imus Cavite with 73 floats and the longest procession in Cavite

yes po... number 5 ang imus which is also the longest procession of cavite.. It was always my dream to one day attend the other 3 processions from Marikina, San Mateo and Imus though it may be impossible to do that in one single year given that all 3 parishes holds their processions every wednesday and friday.. add mo na rin yung travel time from marikina or san mateo to imus... I did have experience attending the top 2 longest processions from my home province of bulacan, namely my home town of pulilan and the neighbouring town of baliwag

Menard Manuel I've been checking other processions from the other towns and it seems na hindi ganun kahaba. Nasa 40 or less since may ibang parish na ineexclude ang passion images pag friday. I still like it better pag kasama lahat ng passion images pag good friday para the more the merrier
