- Annual Good Friday Procession or more commonly known as "Prusisyon ng Paglilibing". This is one of the oldest Lenten traditions of the Catholic faith. Seventy-five Holy images graced the streets of San Mateo to commemorate the Passion, Death and Resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Same din po ngyari yan sa Sta. Cecilia Nung Miyerkules at Biyernes santo nagka salubong yung Prusisyon ng Montalban Rosario
Oh actually dyan na-register yung Santo ng uncle ko. San Bartolome. Ang layo lang ng iniikot dyan sa Maly

agree.. pwedeng full shot while mounted on the caroza plus a close up of the image.. matrabaho lang siguro given the number of floats and the time required to organize them by sequence
4th longest procession in the Philippines. Ang top 3 are:
1. St Augustine parish, Baliuag, Bulacan-118 floats
2. San Isidro Labrador, Pulilan, Bulacan--114 floats
3. Our Lady of the Abandoned, Marikina city-79 floats
Kasama na rin ang imus
yes po... number 5 ang imus which is also the longest procession of cavite.. It was always my dream to one day attend the other 3 processions from Marikina, San Mateo and Imus though it may be impossible to do that in one single year given that all 3 parishes holds their processions every wednesday and friday.. add mo na rin yung travel time from marikina or san mateo to imus... I did have experience attending the top 2 longest processions from my home province of bulacan, namely my home town of pulilan and the neighbouring town of baliwag

Yung Marian procession naman is 60+ Tapos yung Sto. Niño is 150+ featuring mga vehicles with Sto. Niños

nice.. 75 floats.. Ito siguro ang pinakamahabang procession sa rizal.. from bulacan po ako

Menard Manuel I've been checking other processions from the other towns and it seems na hindi ganun kahaba. Nasa 40 or less since may ibang parish na ineexclude ang passion images pag friday. I still like it better pag kasama lahat ng passion images pag good friday para the more the merrier

thanks po sa info... even though it seems na isa lang ang kasamang soldier(it is usually named as second fall in some lineups if there is only one roman soldier) in contrast sa ibang version that features 3-4 guards... anyways tres caidas and tercera caida is still the same naman po since both terms translates to third

part of my wishlist.. though I want to know sana kung saan mas convenient na route (via katipunan ave, qc and baranka, marikina) or via commonwealth/batasan if manggagaling ako ng bulacan.. possible route is from NLEX/Mindanao Ave

Ahh yung 2 caro sa gilid ay yung mga santo sa ibang parishes dito sa San Mateo.
