@@1122markj Well, it's open source, much cheaper, and loading ROMs over USB is much faster.

@@chrisxdeboy Do you have one? Also there's no lag with the 64x7. I still will get the Lag in say Dire Dire Docks in Mario 64. But I don't want a way to get rid of that unless its an option. Which if that somehow has the option to do that I'd love to see it. But yeah The only problem the 64x7 has is not being able to load every single Romhack. Sometimes it can load one but not the other and some users can load the ones I can't load. The only 2 things that would change that would be the type of MicroSD card I'm using, Which I have no idea how much would be needed, if any. And the other reason romhacks might not load for me and will for others is because of firmware. I actually UPdated my 64x7 firmware recently and now some romhacks that used to load, now do not load. It also doesn't let me use the D pad and Analog stick simultaniously anymore when playing NES games. However, the Firmware update DID allow Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Super Nintendo Emulators in the mix!!! I think maybe even a Sega Genesis as well!!! I haven't tried those last two. But Even with Gameboy and Gameboy Color. I have normal non Romhack games that Do load and some that do not load. And I've heard that the SNES emu isn't perfect either so we have a long way to go. IDK about Micro SD Card speeds though. I don't see how that would affect NES mappers stopping the romhack from loading nor do I see how it could affect N64 Romhacks not loading. But either way. The 64x7 makes me happy. But I'll check out the Summercart 64 as well and if I can buy it, I will. If you have a link that'd be great. But yeah I'll search for it right now as well.

Update is that I never used the monitor. Least not for over a year. Got the Neo G9 a few months ago and it's not worth the upgrade at all. The difference is barely noticeable except for it being lighter to lift.. but you still need an Ergotron or Pole to hold them properly. My recommendation for super ultrawides is to either wait for the ones shown at CES this year. As one is OLED. And the other is microLED and taller. Its going to be like using three G7 32s. Overall, G7 32s are still the king. I hate how short the Y axis the G9 has. It's stupid, there's no way to get into a game with these. They are for serious work. But fall flat because they aren't color accurate. Samsung won't have a G9 type till later on that will be as tall as the G7 32s. Of which, using even just one of those is still my favorite setup.

The other update is that everywhere on the internet it says you get three years of warranty for a G9. But I called Samsung two years later and they said it's only one year. That stung pretty bad for me. Hopefully my issues can help others and maybe get Samsung to change their ways. I am hyped for the new ones though and I'll be doing a full review of every model side by side by side by side. So, hit like, subscribe, Tune in and drop out! We're doing this at the years end with RTX 3 to 5000! Show me what you got Samsung! Will you finally pull me away from LG OLED? Maybe make an OSD to use with a mouse or remote and then we'll talk! You have only my hopes till then.

@@1122markj yes exactly now I have 3 lines from top to bottom 😥I spoke with Samsung and they are sending out a new panel. Also, a technician will come down to my house to install the new panel. Hopefully, this will be resolved in 2 or 3 weeks.

Keep me updated on this situation please. Also, how much was the price you paid for the initial sale? And where? I recommend full replacements sent in advance. Not panel replacements unless you have to. Which I may have to. So I'm interested in your story as it unfolds. Cause literally everywhere on the internet it says Odyssey G9s get 3 years warranty but I called Samsung and they said its only 1 year. But I called at the last minute of their work day and they may have lied to me. Not sure. What I want is to try out the Neo G9 and show any differences between them and report any issues or lack there of. Because as I described the original models. They are prototypes for something. And something tells me that the Neos aren't going to be much better when I finally get one. Im already disappointed enough that they dont make a bigger size of G9 to match the 32inch height of the G7. Nor do they make a 4k version of G9 but they do for all the others.

@@1122markj UPDATE: I waited two weeks for the panel to come in only to have the 3rd party repair company call me to let me know they don't carry that panel anymore. So I had to reach out to SAMSUNG to issue a replacement of the whole monitor and guess what? THEY ARE OUT OF STOCK of the G9 so I have to wait longer. They said if it passes a week SAMSUNG will give me a coupon so I can buy the G9 from a retail store as a replacement. So right now it's a waiting game.

Regardless of being required to agree to everything for basic Smart TV (and now even MORE basic non internet features and functions (at least on the C2 until I can financially afford to lose more beloved OLEDS to the implementation of my intricate testing methodologies I employ for all technologies that I work with. Can't without Funding I thought I'd get by now. But never wanted to make any full reviews of them after losing so many useful features in the menus after the first update I said yes to in December 2019 on my first C9 updatefollowing an update from some time mid 2022. I found that you can if done right you can skip it all. But you are left with nothing but a less fully featured HDMI and no internet. Never had this problem with my C9s. Even after updating them.. Which I only update one of them cause it's the family TV and RTX patches and GPU releases coincide with the LG OLED updates intrinsically. In some cases hardware won't even work without an update even on newer models. Which tells me it's just a ploy to force an update on users. And all descriptions baked into the U.I spell out a lot of doom!!!!!! DoomdidoomdoomdiDoooooòom! Yay! I never update my other C9. Ever! I Learned my lesson back in 2019. on the other hand. You lose a lot of features and privacy. Aaaaand nowhere! The C9 I update for games doesn't force you to sell your soul. It just does it for you! 😀 And the C9s and I have and CX now and have never agreed to any terms or even updated, All 100% still record everything you say. It's psychologically damaging to me personally. So I agree with your anger. Sorry It's worse than you thought. On the other hand though, I have good news! It's actually even worse! Cause we don't even know what really happens with our voices at the end of the day. That's where the terror comes in! 😀 I found that ALL the LG products are recording at all times and the sensitivity is.... well... the fear it struck in me has caused me to have moments where I write paper notes to my family and friends and even by myself as to simply not be heard when spouting personal information. Oh boy but please get excited! Cause it's about to get a whole lot worse when I reveal in another upcoming video where I showcase the LG OLED's audio companion. The LG SN11RG. And just how far THAT thing's microphone goes. It's so terrifying that I didn't use it for over a year and a half after what happened when speaking quietly 4 rooms away... I mean. At this point My only regret is that I didn't plan to place these under TH-cam horror and have em out by Halloween! But thats okay... cause thanks to pretty TV, I can be scared every day! And Don't even get me started on stumbling apon eye tracking... It's the cow level of OLEDs...

Aw shucks! ☺️ thats so nice of you! I think I played pretty bad for a lot of it! Like parts of it were kinda good but. Its nowhere near my best. I didnt expect it. But I made myself cry during and after playing Aeris's theme because of her story and being swept away by it from my live transposing down to a mode mixing somber tone version I gave it to purposefully tell her tragic story. I just wish I didnt mess up the Jenova interlude. But its okay. I play by ear and was up for 30 hours. But that was all just the last 5mins I think. I want to edit some of the videos beginning out cause I meant to anyway. It takes too long to start playing and I genuinely think the beginning of my playing always sucks. Unsure. How did you feel about the video?

Oh also I need to ask how you found the video. It helps me understand TH-cam better.

I posted three videos on this. I wish I were recording when it happened. And again when I was able to find a way out of it. But it still did result in being able to duplicate Pokemon with exact same IVs and EVs. I forget what those even mean. But same stats basically. Which I did show in another video. However. Its stranger still that, While I couldn't duplicate the duplication glitch. During the debacle, I was told it was fixed in the first patch. Which I didnt update the game to fix it for myself. Or ever update it. I dont remember what I did. Maybe I mention what I did in one of the other videos. Not sure. Sad to hear it somehow still isnt fixed though. I'm not sure I did much to help the situation either. It's very hard to remember any of this for me. I also probably should have put all three videos into one cause a lot is happening with this one glitch.

How did you manage to get the oil flow at the back of the fan with the plastic bit on it blocking access?

Hello meow! I just peeled the sticker back and that's all it took. That's how most fans are.. but I have some that aren't. Yet still need oil.. I want to do this for all my fans. But not all let you have access. If your fans have stickers peel em back and pour the oil it in! Its a big opening. If not, then look up your fans. It might not let you refill the oil. OR it might let you, but in a different way, like pulling off a piece of the fan hub. Personally, I wish I showed how well this worked my opinion that the design of a sticker being the only thing between air and fluid is tenuous at best. Like... if you mess with it enough that sticker is gonna come off! Or heat shrinking it loose. But regardless. After using it, that fan spins at higher RPMs, Makes less noise. And requires less power! Putting oil in the hub does to fans what neutral gear does to wheels of a car on a hilltop. They just keep..on..spinning until they naturally stop or your PCs fan curve gives it even just a couple watts of power. For real! Even with the PC off, you can spin it with your hand lightly and they won't stop spinning for a very long time! 3 in one oil is FANtastic!

@@xLOVExGODx I never get any replacements from Samsung and even worst my monitor started to appear more dead pixels and flickering, and scanlines, and Samsung didn´t replace it! I will never buy any Samsung product again, today Iḿ using one LG C2 as my monitor, and it is amazing for half the price!

Nah. It's just my poorly made video of a glitch that got patched out like a month later.

It was insane when it happened and totally unexpected so.. I didn't start filming till just afterward. But it wouldn't stop happening at first. And even the Eevee was replaced by a model of diglet in the menu where you pet Eevee. Then it changed to Eevee's model but kept the name Diglett and I couldn't get it to go back :( I honestly forget how I solved it. But when I posted it on Reddit other people told me that they've encountered this glitch before and that it got patched out. But I didn't update the game until way later in the game. But initially It took me days to get rid of the glitch and thought I had to restart the game. So nah... this is no joke. The side effects of it were insane. I eventually got out of it without updating the game. But apparently now It's impossible unless you just play the physical cart and not update it. Assuming that there were no silent revisions of the physical release.

Aw man I'm really sorry to hear that :( And yeah, I know the flashing colors will never fix dead pixels. It's just all I could do to maybe help any pixels that might've been dimmed around the area and also so you can see the dead pixels more clearly in the video.

I'm confused by everyone's comments. I also only played this game half way through and this random recording was from my first playthrough.

I don't fake anything. I thought this glitch turned out to be understood at some point. I heard it got patched out shortly after my upload. But when I uploaded it I heard people saying to not update if I didnt want this to be patched on my system cause others had discovered this before I did... apparently. But no. I don't fake shit. I actually have a soul.

Man that sucks! I bought mine for like 1600 and the box had 400 holes in it and then obv these dead pixels. Newegg wouldn't replace it. And the whole ordeal gave me so much depression that I still haven't called Samsung to try and replace it.

The whole ordeal made me so depressed all year that I have only turned it on like 4 times all year and never called Samsung for a return. Probably out of a fear of rejection and so if I never call I can always have hope that I can get a replacement. Obviously that makes no sense and I need some fkin therapy namsayn

Huh... Interesting. I had never heard of backlight bleed being more apparent on curved monitors as this is my first one. The whole curved thing has a purpose though but it's not a huge game changer.... I guess.. Idk, it depends what you're playing really. For anything with hud elements it helps for sure though. But it doesn't really help when playing Melee. lol
