VERY INSPIRING story! Your awesome Jessy!
Bro
Silver is doing a hell of a lot better then i am. I have Lymphoma, 2 brain tumors and one year left of life at best. In my heart Silver is blessed. Silver is a Very good man.
I went to a Road to Recovery deal once,at Cahuilla Creek, probably in about 2016-17,somewhere around that time I think……I had met a lady who is Part of R2R…Very Cool lady ..Coreen is her name and she Told me about this Ride & Asked if I was Going,I said I’ll Try to go,the Ride was for Jessy…I Knew who he was & Heard about his Injury…I was making Good $$ at the Time & decided to Go…I’m a Nor Cal Boy so I Loaded up & Drove from San Francisco to Riverside, got a Hotel & Went to the Track the Next Day,my First Time to Cahuilla,it was Actually one of the Best Times I Ever had Riding,& Donating to a Good Cause…I think I Paid like $2-$300 bucks which went to Jessy…I Met a Bunch of Heros including David & Gary Bailey there,it was an Awesome Day…then I Met Jessy !!..I felt So Bad for Him,but Admired his Attitude & Strength to keep Going in Life Paralyzed…it Hurt to See but as I said,he had a Great Attitude & was in Good Spirits…He Signed my Bib that we Rode with…”Ride for Jessy” which I Still Have to This Day…I remember talking with him & he was Very Nice & he showed Much Appreciation for me Comming, then there was a Raffle at the End of the Day to get More Money for him to get a Special Van with a Lift so he could Wheel In & Out of…I paid $25 for that Raffle…& after everything was Done for the Day…he was Signing Autographs for people (Very Cool)…& I went up to Talk with Him & I said” Here Bro” here’s another $150 (I think it was) Cash that I Pulled out of my Pocket,he Looked at me with a Big Ol Smile & Shook my Hand saying “Wow,Thank You !”…I’ll Never Forget that Day & I’ll Never Forget Jessy…I Sure Hope I get to See Him again some day🦾🏁🔥
Red bull stepped up directly saying we got an expert for that. I remember that documentation about red bull and how it is risking the lifes of athletes and how bad that is. But in reality red bull may not ve the nicest company but red bull doesn't let their athletes fall flat and helps them fufill their dream. They are huge investing into making people like nelson walk again. Men I am still pissed at that documentary
You are an absolute legend jessy
I remember this happening, so truly glad to see you are doing alright..
I saw him as a kid at hangtown just ripping so hard. So sad. I feel for him. I just hope technology improves and give you your wheels back!
Total Respect for you Jessy ✊🏻❤️
Jessy is a great person, I’m hoping within the next decade there’s promise for finding a cure for paralysis, between stem cell technology constantly evolving and making huge leaps in progress and more research I just know they’ll have something soon.
Thank you jesse
Sorry Jessy Fucking amazing legend.!
The stake in the ground wedging the track marker to the ground might be responsible for taking Jessys ability to walk. I pray they have never and will never do this again.
I injured my back riding and stopped for a bit and went snowboarding a year or so later and fell on my back and hit the same spot. I was in pain for months. Would have much rather done that riding then trying to snowboard which I suck at
Superacion y ganas de salir adelante en su maxima expresion
San diago 2017 supercross we bought raffle tickets to support Jessy and my cousin actually won the specially painted fly helmet. That helmet is in South Africa now thats where we from…awesome documentary !!

I sobbed watching this. That corner at Unadilla is where I watch the races. I stopped watched moto for a couple of years after this because I hated the sport for what it did to Jessy. I'm glad to see he still battling.
You are an inspiration that I will look up to forever. I believe one day you will ride dirtbikes again

Man..So Inspiring. I was Honored to meet Jesse a few years back at a Local fundraiser deal for him..near Home. All I could say was Never give up..and he Agreed he would not. Obviously by this the young Man has so much Heart and drive to make the very best of his setback..I can't say enough how Inspring that is.. Life has challenges for alot of people..myself included, but you gotta fight thru it. So Thank You for that reminder here. I Hope to see you again sometime, and all the Best to you, Emily and your family.
