    My Tundra was acting up also. Similar problem, with the assist cutting in and out, but throttle worked fine. They did the same thing and was going to send me a new wheel/motor assembly. After 2 weeks of not shipping, I inquired about them just sending me a new bike....they did. My second bike works flawlessly. I'd push for a new bike for your wife.

    I just recieved my GX2 yesterday. It is a great scooter for me,as I weigh 279lbs. It pulls me up the hills in my area effortlessly . Our country roads (no bike paths here) are extreemly rough,and the great suspension makes riding this scooter a pleasure.I'm going to see what is involved in removing the battery during the cold winter months,as the scooter is really too heavy,to transport in and out of the house. I wish Gotrax would include a spanner wrench for the shocks.

      @@danwestness2862 Correct. I mis-spoke when I said $299, it should have been $1,299, as I have posted in the comments section. At least that was the price I paid for it. At $1,500 there’s a lot of better options than this scooter.

    GOTRAX GX1 / GX2 / GX3 Dual Motor Electric Scooters (or essentially all GOTRAX scooters) are primarily designed for kids, beginners, or individuals who are just starting to explore scooter riding and don't mind a basic scooter. If you're seeking scooters with more advanced features, aesthetics, high-quality materials, and superior handling, it's advisable to explore other options. There is an abundance of other scooters on the market, offering more features at lower prices, such as the Apollo Phantom, Roadrunner, Inmotion, Kaabo, Inokim, Circooter, among others. Conduct thorough research before making a purchase, as GOTRAX should be considered as a last resort (just look at the motor specs, just a joke). I have had a negative experience with GOTRAX and would not consider purchasing from them again due to their poor quality and inadequate after-sales support. The GX3 scooter I received failed to power on from the moment it arrived. Despite attempting to charge it for several hours, there was no response whatsoever. Communicating with GOTRAX proved to be extremely difficult, with days passing before receiving any response. Ultimately, they I ended up requesting to return the scooter at my own expense, I offered to drop it off at the return location, which is only 9 miles away from me. However, GOTRAX declined and insisted on shipping it back (basically to make you keep it). This resulted in high shipping costs from UPS due to the scooter's weight and size. To any potential buyers considering purchasing a GOTRAX GX1 / GX2 / GX3, be cautious - proceed at your own risk. It's worth noting that the warehouse near my location receives a significant number of returned scooters, which are subsequently sold starting at $100 due to their poor quality.

    What is he talking about? These things are running for 1299 in the USA? It's not an entry level scooter. It tops out at 35 MPH. It's big and heavy and goes fast. Nothing entry level about the GX2.

    • @jamescashmore1452
      @jamescashmore1452 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      only 35mph that why entry scooter mine goes 55mph and my baby dual motor does 45mph i paid 900.00 pounds for hat one in the UK you may know it as the solar p1 but mine is more superior than their knock off one they sell

    • @OneBarLeft
      @OneBarLeft 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I guess I should have said it’s an entry level dual motor scooter. I have taught 3 people now who have never ridden scooters how to ride on it. They all didn’t think it was too much. Just use a lower power/speed setting until you’re comfortable on it. For me, it’s a bare minimum though for my size and our hilly terrain.

    PSA: if you want to change any of the three (3) PAS profile's speed, power, e-abs, etc. You must first be on the PAS number you want to adjust on the "Main" screen before going into P4 -> Advance (+ & - button). In my case, I reversed my settings from 1 being fastest and 3 being the slowest as whenever you turn on the scooter PAS 1 is the default when turning on the scooter. Hope this helps.

    I'm still struggling with the front brakes. I tried the paper method you suggested and I found I couldn't at first. There wasn't enough space to get the paper in there folded even if I pushed caliper in as far as it would go with the bolts loosened. I've tried 3 different sets of brake pads. I added a couple extra washers to add extra spacing so i could fit the paper in, but it still squeals. I did notice when i took the last set of pads off there only seemed to be wear at the top and the bottom of the pad. Like nothing in the middle. Any other suggestions?

    • @OneBarLeft
      @OneBarLeft 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s strange that only the top and bottom would show wear. That was inside and outside pads both? Wish I could post a photo in the comments section of my pad to rotor gap. Edit - sent you an email.

      Ordered it directly from GoTrax. Ordered on a Tuesday, and it was here on Saturday. They ship from Texas. My buddy has the Aventon Adventure 2, and I think this is the better bike. So far I am happy with it, actually ordered 2 of them. My wife has the silver one. I am working on some actual review videos for them, including some update reviews.
