    Sad to see that Ottawa has no train service anymore. The city survives on transport trucks. Walkley yards I believe has one train per week to arm prior to the nylon producer factory located there.

    In 2009 they tested few of the mulitlevels and after they were in service in 2011 and the comet cars in 1999-2009 used to run on saint jerome now its the mulitlevels and bilevels

    What a show! ALCo/MLW locos are the best, they growl, they spit out clouds of exaust when reved up, and from what I’ve heard of them, they’re solid workhorses too! I have yet to meet one in,person, but it’s on the bucket list.

      No. The basic textures come from Jointed Rail (Copyrighted)... All I did was modify them to my taste.

    J'ai vécu 1 an à Montreal, c'est globalement propre dans le réseau et toujours amusant d'entendre cette mélodie du démarrage des trains en 3 notes (je crois que c'est unique au métro de Montréal). Par contre les stations manquent un peu de couleurs et sont trop grisâtres

    Nice to hear an old Alco chugging . She sounds like it needs a good overhaul and is a little off its clean throttle , but its still running .

    If that locomotive is stilll working for CP, I'd feed it a CAT 3516 railroad service engine, and pluck that Alco motor out and rebuild the sucker, putting it aside for some other MLW rs18 which is in dire need of it. That's one smoky sucker... but it's nice to see one at work.

    We at Indian Railways are currently having both ALCOS and EMDs on our networks. Alcos have been the backbone of diesel traction for a long time but since the past decade or so there has been a shift and EMDs are being aggressively produced. EMDs 4000 HP/4500 HP/5000 HP produced till now. 5000 HP one undergoing trials as of now .

    @MrMontreal66 It's actually in NDG, off Grand Boulevard, about halfway between Vendome and Montreal West. Not a bad location, but the bridge does have a full-height chain-link fence that can be a pain to get around.
