i dont have a supercharger but my cts coupe has a 3.6 and will 0-60 in 5 seconds flat 4.61 not real impressive for $8k plus for super charger

So would it not work on the 06 sts 3.6? Look very similar in many ways. I'd really like to throw this on mine. Right now I'm trying to hunt down a manual transmission for mine. The only thing I've done is cold air intake and a chip and some gauges.. oh and a straight pipe to borla exhaust these motors sound great and aren't to bad to work on. My biggest issue with my sts has been the damn windows and the auto transmission is a bitch to do a fluid cleanse and filter. Trying to get up to that refill plug is impossible. I love the looks of this car the sts is way more aggressive than the cts models. However the interior of the base models are so basic bitch.... I'll always be a German car dude. I love my audi rs5 and s3 cabriolet but this cadi is very nice. Until the day I can afford a ct5 blackwing. I'm gonna make this car as nice as possible

Nonsense, the airbox isnt there to restrict airflow or it would be just a filter in the open air. its there to provide a resonance of high pressure by the engine sucking in the air an low of pressure ready for the next cylinder.

What about transmission upgrades? Any mods needed for AWD systems to handle the power? Would be great to get more hp out of it but don’t want other systems failing because they can handle the horsepower. Thanks

🔧🏆👏 I came upon your video (and idea) by accident and think it’s functional and brilliant. It’s far better than the $300 clamp-on K&N cold (hot, really) air intakes that many people think is wise. Keeping the filter inside the factory air box and allowing more air flow through the drilled holes all while keeping out hot engine bay air is fabulous DIY engineering. Thanks for taking the time to share this impressive idea and video.

Hey I'm not sure if will owns this youtube or not, I was really wanting to try out the tune then perhaps this supercharger if I get good results from the tune I purchased the tune in late october, waited a bit and didn't get the tune so I refunded even though I didn't want to. According to some forums will has been mia the last year or so, i've tried emailing many times but have never gotten a reply. Would love to purchase and go through with it this time.
