I know i don't speak for everyone but i liked suicide squad, i know some problems people have with it is that it wasn't a very good ending for Kevin Conroy's Batman and id agree while a lot of the league stuff was poorly handled i for one liked him talking over the coms to the aliens whenever they were losing and our first encounter with him genuinely was really cool. but another thing is that i really liked the game play and references in the writing, there's a specific character interaction between King Shark and Deadshot where he directly namedrops Prometheus who's not a character who's brought up all that much so my little nerd brain loved that and while i felt like the combat gameplay could have been handled better, specifically with King Shark and Captain Boomerang, id like to point out that Deadshots ENTIRE thing is guns and Harley is also a pretty regular user of firearms. again far from a perfect game, FAR FAR from one, but i think its better then Avengers, but that just my opinion, no hate to anyone, love all of you

Just clicked to say Avengers without a doubt. People are WAY too harsh on that game, at least they didn't shoot Cap on a park bench or stick us with unlikable characters. I normally don't give a damn about Ms. Marvel, but the game legit had me liking her!

While I understand that the only player statistics made public are on Steam, using them as a benchmark for ALL games is wrong. If you had done a bit more research, you would have found that the most popular gaming platform for Marvel's Avengers is and always has been Playstation, BY FAR. And PC has always been the least popular, far behind PS and Xbox. So the part of your video where you tell viewers that SSKJL has more players than Avengers these days, based on Steam numbers, is probably very inaccurate. I still play Avengers to this day, and there's still a good amount of people playing it... On Playstation. 🙂

I played this game yesterday at Zero Latency in Montréal. It was really fun and immersive. We had a few issues though. Despite what they assured us, it was nearly impossible to wear the headset with my glasses on. And I don't have large glasses. They were painfully pushing on my nose. So I removed them. Quite frankly, since the VR screen is millimetres away from your eyes, it's very much okay. The game was really fun and the ancient rumblings and other effects really added to the experience. At times, there was a massive slowdown in the game, I don't know if this apparent lag was supposed to be part of the cinematic effects or if it was due to the large number of enemies in the area. I didn't quite appreciate this. There were also a few hiccups, with a 1-second cut in the animation. It happened maybe 3-4 times in 30 minutes. I really liked the overall mission, special weapons and interactions between players. There is a 1/2 second lag in player comm audio, it's quite obvious when you're shouting at each other in close proximity (you can overhear your normal voice and the delayed digital audio in your headset. It was fun to shout Warhammer 40k war cries such as "Glory to the emperor!", and the StarCraft classic "You want a piece of me, boy?"...

At least Avengers didn’t have dialogue so bad it made me want to stab a screwdriver into my ears EVERY TIME THE CHARACTERS SPOKE! And while we’re at it, Avengers looked better than KTJL. Not saying it looked good, but at least you could see what was happening. In KTJL, everything was just obscured behind damage values and multi-colored dust clouds. It gave me a migraine just looking at it, I couldn’t begin to imagine what it was like to play.

I want new enemies and locations most of all.

With Suicide Squad no longer getting any support, in my opinion this should retroactively be a tie. You obviously can't predict how long the game was going to last. When reviewing it at launch you must five benefit of the doubt. Avengers lasted a good 3 years, suggesting Suicide Squad should have a similar run. As we know now, it didn't even made it past a full year of support (in all fairness it just barely fell short), but nobody could've told you that at launch. I don't think my definition of shelf life is the same as yours, but I feel we can agree that 1 year of support is sad. Gotham Knights got a similar amount of post launch support, but it never promised to be live service. It didn't underdeliver on purpose so you'd return for more story. It gave you the full product you paid for, and that should give it the point for shelf life. At least in my opinion.

Too bad they refuse to let me play solo. For some reason Im not allowed to challenge myself unless i grind out a bunch of levels with complete randoms who sprint through levels and kick randomly. Space Marine 2 was a massive disappointment in every single way, but at least i could do everything solo with no restrictions if i wanted the challenge.

GREAT NEWS! A famous leaker on twitter recently revealed that a new studio has the license for an Avengers game. Not connected to Crystal Dynamic so hopefully they can learn from their mistakes with a better system other than looter shooter, better traversal, and a better gameplay experience that makes you truly FEEL like the Avengers, fighting their mightiest foes instead of AIM robots

Avengers is better than Suicide Squad. Yes Avengers was a flawed game. But they gave us probably the best villain we ever had. And yes he is a gag villain, but they managed to make him threatening

I thought Thor was a lot of fun to play with and really made me want a good Thor game (whether MCU or just an independent take on Norse mythology).

suicide squad is extremely fun to play. its story was not well received and that's fair I think, but the gameplay is really cool

I had 300+ hours in the Avengers and even 100%-ed it, but I couldn't play SS yet.

There actually were several hints that the league was off in the main game for suicide squad. Flash lost a finger early on and then when you fight him later he has it back and they call it out. Superman was immune/resistant to kryptonite. Green lanterns ring didn’t fly off and his constructs were still up when they liked him, all pointed out by the suicide squad

1:01 they did that shit as a last minute resort because they got so much backlash. Especially how on any given day, batman solos suicide squad with no difficulties. Even Batman Assault on Arkham showed batman whooping they ass.

Personally id much rather play suicide squad than the avengers. Ive played both, not for particularly long, like an hour or 2 each, but the avengers gameplay was outrageously boring, at least the suicide squads base gameplay is at least somewhat fun, even if there isnt a huge amount of variety

Look, nobody hate me for this, but I prefer the gameplay of Suicide Squad. The story is still crap, but the gameplay felt more fast and open world-like.

The last two were a total reach, Suicide Squad is definitely better than Avengers, the cloning thing was teased to the public since the 1st boss fight with the flash and after Lex Luthor analyzed Batman’s DNA to defeat Superman, it was literally there and it was literally planned since day 1, you just had to play the game and pay attention to the details

When you bought both games and are like... The avengers was fun at points at least.... Kill the justice league was fun for a bit then just got boring. I'm hoping that as it's reached EOL they remove the anti cheat though so I can easily replay kill the justice league on my steam deck like I can the avengers

Avengers I genuinely enjoyed. Absolutely could and should be better. For what we got it’s been something I’ve been waiting for awhile now. Glad we get to have fun playing as the avengers with friends.

Honestly. I would love to see crystal dynamics take another shot at the avengers. They have a decent foundation for something that could be a solid and a premise that I like (the heroes being the underdogs like new avengers by bendis). I feel like if they add more characters, more villains, and expand on the maps they already have developed to make them more like a sandbox it could be a lot of fun to play in. I also hope they keep they same writers if they ever make a new game because as a long time avengers fan they understood the characters and had some descent inspiration from the comics

I stopped this video at 29:34 to say this: I get everyone has an opinion on how they enjoyed the game and the loop. But to say suicide squad has better gameplay is criminal. Be in a few games with everyone playing hulk is A1. I own and still play both from time to time I just don’t have a popular TH-cam channel lol
