Alright! Time for Pantheon of Hollownest

MAN! I hit P5 last night and my heart was about to explode when I reached her fight. I cheered out loud for you when you got the final hit, awesome work and great video too!!

I found myself stuck at the False Knight fight when I first started because I didn't know his telegraphs were so slow, I just taught the boss was waiting for me to strike first so he would react. He took me a few attempts to beat. A few days later, I got stuck on Hornet for a little bit cause she's also super fast for new players, but eventually I got ahold of her too. I have never been really good at videogames, but a couple of years ago, I started playing Celeste and fell in love with it and that started me up on great indie titles. Celeste is still pending (6, 7 and 8 C-sides + Farewell). Hollow Knight was an amazing journey and I am almost entirely in agreement with you. I would just put it slightly differently: HK is a really hard game and it's up to each player to decide how much they're willing to learn before they progress. I would like to finish this insanely long comment by sharing that I was able to beat Pantheon 5 last night and I am so damn happy. Failed Champ feels super hard at first, but his radiant fight is actually pretty easy if you go in with Strenght, Quick Slash, Mark of Pride, Steady Body and Shaman Stone. I can share more on how to easily do this fight hitless, but I don't want to spoil any tactics in case you prefer to find out by yourself. Really good video, keep it up!

On my first playthrough, i accidentally found the skip and ended up progressing way too much with no boss experience. Hornet ended up being my first boss, i probably fought her about 20 or so times until i beat her. I wish i never skipped false knight

12:06 I think this happens because it’s doing the slam, landing up against the wall and then trying to do the backwards jump into the shockwave but since the game realises it can’t jump any further backwards it has to skip the jump and just do the shockwave immediately, I think this is also why it can end up doing multiple shockwaves in a row without jumping back since that always seems to happen when its up against a wall.

Don't forget if you know what your really doing you can just flat out right skip false knight but breaking one of the week walls. but it is also somewhat of a risk because you lose out on the geo chest he gives you if you do this skip.

I didn't die once to false knight! Gruz mother is a very different story though...

The boss isn't even hard to re-attempt. But if you play a game like hollow knight with no intention of learning the bosses then maybe the game isn't for you

The hero system of the first game is worse, there is no doubt. Needing to upgrade de hero every level doing the same thing lots of times is boring

Ok, to be fair quitting the game because of it would of course make you think it’s bad, all it takes is learning the patterns and practice, as long as you don’t give up you’ll beat it.

Ok so almost all of his wizard towers wer unvalid based on abilities, a high powered wizard could easily summon a tornado, and a sorcerer could also quite easily create a golem or polymorph a creature as well as the design is beautiful as just as the wizard towers all have crystals and sorcerers live in the mountains they would have a more rocky tower

I was gonna say that failed champion isn’t that bad, but then I remembered that I have the reflexes of a cat. Very close to beating P5!

Tbh false night is a perfect first maybe even the best!, at first your gonna damn struggle but after finally defeating him,you become ready to fight all the incoming bosses, not tooo ready, but ready enough,PERFECT

I think failed champion is actualy a pretty fair fight it not perfect but bpretty fair ecpacisally if you learn his paterns he becomes pretty eazy and if u go nail build u can kill him pretty quicly and take no damage concitenly

I remember when I first played Hollow Knight, when I came face to club with a Great Husk, and it dealt two Masks of damage, I was freaking out because I thought I wasn't ready, as in, didn't have the in game equipment to deal with it yet... False Knight told me I did, before beating me to a pulp. Side note, I did beat him on my second try.

13:39 1, thas actually pretty cool i didnt know that was in the game 2, you can equip dream wielder and itll double the amount of soul you get and also just make the dream nail faster, so it doesnt have to be a chore. If youre in the pantheons though and you dont wanna have to sacrifice a charm for dream wielder, then fair.

Another importante point to mention. If you, experienced player, find the false knight fight boring. Just skip it. Don't blame cherry team. I don't remember struggling to kill him first time, but I remember dying. Although I didn't replay the game ofter I beated, watching your video show me how I learned how to kill him, and maybe that's why I didn't struggled. Same can be said about the mantis lord. First you learn the moves with 1 mantis, then your use everything you've learned again two at the same time. That a wonderful game. I beated it about a week ago and now I'm looking for 112%.

9:26 I think you are going into a wrong direction with that sentence, Hollow Knight is known to be a hard game and only for people who actually want to play it. You will die to bosses *a lot* on your first playthrough and it will be annoying. But that only means that you need to learn more about the boss you are fighting, the Bosses in this game are supposed to make you analyse them, and learn their patterns, and you shouldn't give up, even if its hard for you, if you win, it will always be a good feeling, even if its hard to keep going.

Revenge. Finally. Also maybe The Rule Of Third Restart (©me) will work (if you are too unskilled, leave the game for a month two times, for me it worked)
