A small country homestead on about 20 acres in the Piedmont area of NC where we have been raising food for several years now and are aiming for as close to 100 percent food production as possible. We bring you along for our weekly projects including raising hogs, chickens, and gardens as well as many building projects from lumber we mill ourselves. God bless.
Summertime Stew Like No Other
Ya'll have probably never seen a stew like this before because I never have but i'm telling you it's the best homemade concoction I've ever came up with without a recipe. The "recipe" is as follows:
2 small to med sized yellow onions or 1 large one
2 tablespoons minced garlic
6 snacking peppers
1 cayenne pepper
1 large green bell pepper
3 red marconi peppers or one large red bell as substitute
3 cups of puree tomatoes (take the cores out first)
3 large white potatoes course chopped
Salt and pepper tp taste
1 pound of bratwurst cut up and seared
Follow the video and make this stew yourself. You will not be disappointed!
God bless.

Grew up learning how to cook at grandma's knee. She was a cook who didn't use recipes. Instead it was a handful of this. A palmful of that. Never measured . I to this day still cook like that. But I have a love for old cookbooks . So yes i also use recipes. God bless and feel better.
@@lorijesus4ever same here. I have a few old cookbooks and my wife Lisa does as well. Have a good day!
I want to know why people that make disparaging comments, especially when it pertains to faith in Jesus Christ, are even watching these videos??? If they don't agree with your beliefs, and mine by the way, it wont take them long watching these videos to realize what you are about. So that gives them the perfect opportunity to exit the video and move on. Obviously they can't because they are weak and allow Satan to rule their minds so they can't help themselves. All you can do is pray for them that their eyes will be opened but in the end, they have to want to have their eyes opened. You can't do it for them brother.

Kind of new to the the channel what kind of splitter is that?
Disregard I watched till then end and got my answer.
Why dont you go with a different splitting head that splitts in more pieces so you dont have to resplitt.
I'd love to give that a go someday. It's a pricey upgrade for now.
Forgive me Lord, for I have coveted Piney Woods Homestead's wood splitter. In particular, the hydraulic lift that I wish I had on my Countyline 25 ton (pounds😂) splitter. I have used some gourd-headed ingenuity by rolling the big rounds onto the carryall on my Jubilee tractor and backing up to the log splitter and rolling them off. That works better than trying to lift them by brute strength. It takes me and my wife together to lift them otherwise, or sawing them into halves or quarters. Where there's a will there's a way. Don't you just love old people?😁
@@ralpharvin2668 sounds like you're working smarter and not harder Ralph. Good job!
I had a country line. It was plenty strong and fast, but the ][ I beam was only 3/6 rolled. And the wedge bent it out so bad they had to put another one on it for the warranty! Then I sold it lol. But I split some knotty live oak, and about 30+ cords that year. I used it for 3 seasons. But it had me thinking, if that wedge pops out and I used in on the ground, witch made it easier for me, the wife ran the hydro and the kids rolled me the logs and stacked the wood, All year long.
👍 very nice wood chipper. You have some good equipment. Lisa and Matthew have a Blessed week 😊
