How can i speak with you today i have a couple urgent questions for you regarding home gym pulley systems
Yes. What's up with your pulley?
Good work for assistance of dumbell pressing heavy. Jesus is Lord.
How's it going man you good? Haven't uploaded for a while.
Good. Have been doing some theological thinking lately - that's all.
If done properly there is a place for both just as there's a place for both barbell and belt squats in a training program. A weighted belt can be used to put more load on your legs, but a lighter ruck(without a hip pad) really works your core. If the ruck is causing spinal compression and/or bad posture the ruck is too heavy or worn incorrectly.
You think outside the box, you remind me of Doug Brignole
Guy working at the town clock tower when he falls into the gears: “yo this feels pretty good tho 😮”
Wow
thats mostly back pressure isnt it?
the first move sure has some, but the back pressure is no way the limiting factor, so I would count this as purely a side pressure movement, since you will max out your side pressure on it way way way before you even feel your back pressure working.

Excellent video 👍
This is the most janky setup I’ve seen but I respect it
nice vid, whats the L shaped metal part called???
The official English name for it seems to vary between "corner iron", "angle iron" and "angle bracket"
@@T12J7 Thanks, just got the parts today and made it, it is challenging but i think it will be of good benefit to my training.
how does this feel?
This has been the best feeling variation of the row movements (cable row, seal row, dumbbell row, etc.) 1. due to the neutral grip you don't get tondonitis in the _brachioradialis._ 2. due to the lift being off the floor, it is easy to set up and it doesn't strech you too much (even though this is more like a preference). Note that in this video I do not do it off the floor, but these days I do, because I found it feels better. 3. Compared to the movements like cable row and dumbbell row this is super strict which then allows you to get more quentitive data regarding your progression which then helps you to better hone down your training.
Hell yeah I bet that felt good I need that
I lift mine off the table, it’s way more efficient than doing it on your leg. No calf muscles to help with the lift. I do mine slightly supinated to isolate the pronator even more
ASMR moment 0:49 lmao
this is a calf raise lift, good job
Hey! I really like how you talk about lifting. You explain things well. I appreciate how well you respond to critiques. You are a smart guy, you know what are you saying. I like your other lifts, how have you gone this strong? Why don’t you make a video on practical things you do. Thanks.
I do have some videos on the practical things, but my channel is kind of a video dump so they can be little hard to find. lol
@@T12J7 yes have to watch all your videos again and extract the information one by one. Keep posting dude 👍🏻 Also post heavy weight exercises 🔥
@@sjop9999 In this video I tried to go over my training program in more detail: th-cam.com/video/83G0OUfBJcM/w-d-xo.html If something was left unanswered, just ask and I can address it.
Thats a really weird lift
Lift 100kg with one arm, without any support from the other, and without pushing it with your leg. I'm waiting
Pronation is actually the motion to prevent the pressure turning your arm not the wrist, only rising and cupping is the motion of wrist, pronation is the motion of your forearm, so you support your forearm like that to training is not going to help you too much
Make a loop and put it over your thumb, tell us if you get the same.
I can do another video next time I'm doing this movement, so that that time 1. I have a loop around my tumb, 2. I don't hold my hand with the other arm. I'm not going to go for the 100 kg that time, but maybe 80 to just prove the point. Like the other hand isn't actually helping the pronation, because there isn't actually any pronation in this movement. The other hand is just making it not hurt like hell to have that wirst on your knee white there is 100 kg hanging from it. Rapping the belt around the tump doesn't make difference either, because it is the location of those two belt ends which dictate is there lever arm or not. Like even if that belt goes around my tumb I can still place the belt so that there is no level arm and hence no pronation activation. Like I can do a follow up video for this to prove this.
@@T12J7 Exactly, there is no pronation in this mocement, so why does the titles say pronation world record?
@@vic1028 The title doesn't say _"pronation world record"_ but instead _"103 kg pronation world record, or a good case study?"_ so obviously it is the "good case study" and not the "pronation world record."
and what kind of pronation is this???? if you blocked the rotation with your other hand?? who are you kidding? you can relax the hand that has the belt on it and it won't rotate because you blocked it with your other hand by squeezing your wrist
Yeah he needs to loop the belt over his thumb to attack pronator.
You can NOT stop your own arm/hand from twisting/rotating by holding it with your other hand, that is not possible with 2 healthy, similarly developed arms. In order to achieve what you say, you have to apply enough pressure to lock both your Radius and Ulna bones in place, mechanically. I don't want to type tons of things to prove this methodically, just try it and you will understand. You can not stop your Ulna and Radius bones to cross over each other by just holding it with your other hand.
Lifting with leg
true.
With 2 hands and the leg is not a record.

Thanks. Hood is there to keep things less personal. Don't know is there a point to keep doing it still, but old habits are hard to break. Started doing it when I started and have just been doing it since
@@T12J7 Let's face it: Your info really has nothing to do with your face...lol. It's a gimmick at this point. Call me crazy, but if I was building a channel and a following, I'd think a bit "personal" is a good thing as people end up liking you and felling more connected if they think they actually do know you. @@mikestone1865 Give the man a break his from Finland😉
yeah. I would like to see video diary of few test members of each side to see how they trained their partials, especially in pushing movements. Also vice versa how did full rom guys did their sets. Another study that is everyday on the debate is 1set to failure vs 3 sets near failure, when i never see how the failure was done, how much beyond they went and how much they recovered between sets etc. If some people get great results doing 1 set to failure and others don't have good results, there must be mostly a huge performance issue and progress etc. That is usually never mentioned fully.
They do have videos of every set performed included in the study material that you can find.
