That fucking top bolt !!!
@jamesfoster8077 That is a s.o.b. if it wants to fight, I've been pretty lucky with them for the most part, leave the bottom a little loose and thread the top in almost all the way by hand
@jamesfoster8077 I thought this was the alternator video haha but I guess it still applies, yea initially it seems tough but if the car is high enough I can reach around both sides of the starter to get at it and just thread it in
@@ccreations123 your video was definitely the best out there! & it really wasn’t that bad but I made the comment after battling it for 45 minutes. Thanks for the content & tips.
Very nice. Let’s see more
In due time, drive shaft issues at the moment
i rented a silver 2007 and loved it, it was quite fast
@@EgHatchK24a2 they get down the road for sure, thanks for watching
Best bike ever made. Will do second gear wheelies at 120 mph. Mine has 100,000 miles. Still sounds new
@balancepoint71 I raced and abused this one for years, however I have made it nearly new again at 100k and is still serving me like a new one (see other videos) Thanks for watching
This wasn't necessarily helpful to myself but a great video all the same. I have this exact model and I have had a really hard time not only getting parts but finding information about the vehicle at all so thank you a lot
@zilentchaos9964 Your welcome, these cars tend to eat a starter and alternator at least once or more in it's general driving life, have the alternator video as well when you need it, thanks for watching
Nice bike!
Thanks C.R.I.S
TH-cam is not impressed
How it turned out my wheel literally just loose

Yamaha fazer 1000.
In the U.S. we call it an Fz1 but I often refer to it as a Fazer as well
Add seat holders to front like beetle

@@ccreations123 what's ur secret
@GSKYYT I called c@r shield before my car breaks down haha
@GSKYYT I bought it this way and I'm sure it's been replaced a couple times and is pretty wore out now or the injectors are at least but the truck it self does have a million plus miles on it
@@ccreations123 ah so you lied
Can you please do a video covering how to change the air filter on a first generation? I have a 2002 FZ1 and I can’t figure out where it is.

Sounds like a jet boat
Yuppers, it sounds wicked and different depending on where you're at around it, the exhaust is loud enough I can't really hear the blower or the gear drive in the truck, I can feel it though! Thank's for checking out the video

We try, he tries, I try
That thing is nasty
It's dangerous for sure lol, still has quite a bit more power to come still as well

Thanks for the video buddy! Gotta change out the starter is my sister's Saturn today
You're welcome, good luck on it!
@@ccreations123 thanks! Hopefully it won't be too bad. It's cutting into my fishing time this evening lol
@@romeohulu9194 If you get the car high enough to reach in there you could be done in 20 minutes, takes more time to jack the car up and get tools out and put away then the actual repair, par for the course and the fish won't wait lol
Love this!!! y 01 FZ1 has been sitting for 9 yrs. I had a work fall 12 yrs ago changed my life. After many surgeries Im feeling really good and want to ride again. did the whole thing with new gas, drain carbs, new gas with seafoam, and the bike started!!! ran a little ruff, went up and down the street a couple of times and its getting better. I live in alaska and have the bike in Seattle area. So bummed that FZ1 owners assoc is no longer around. you don't have any tips for this area?
My best tip would be to glance at the race prep video's on this channel and consider pulling your carbs off for a clean, change your brake fluid, fork seals are likely to start leaking, watch fz1 front to back on this channel
Hi, I removed the tank to fix the petcock valve, but now I have some problem, there are 2 small hoses under the tank, I found out it is for breathing air, but what about the other one, what is it for? Now I don't know which hose to connect to which pipe, or can I just connect it back regardless of which hose?
They are both vents and no it doesn't matter which one goes where
@@ccreations123 Ok, thanks!
Terrible post
Awareness of the dangers
Bought an SL1 brand bread it for 15 years, reached over 340k miles before I gave it to my nephew. I hardly had any trouble with it. I only did regular oil changes (never changed the transmission fluid). Original motor and transmission.
I believe it! Thanks for watching and dropping a comment
To reduce handle bar buzz significantly I use thicker foam grips. Johar used to make them but I think you can get them anywhere ; They're very cheap also.
I have some of the velcro on foam grips, but the vibes can still be a bit much
make a video of you washing it!
It's not my bike and I don't do OF 😜, seriously though, it's still dirty to this day
Damm you got that idle down to like 500rpms 😂😂 sounds baffleless
The fuel was actually still turned off at the end but normal idle for me is 1100ish rpm, there are still packings in the muffler but no baffle, I have the baffle/spark arrestor though, my muffler is cracked now so it's louder and awaiting replacement, thanks for watching
I love my saturn, but to often the idle high lately. Any tips, one guy said its my head gasket. But no signs of that. Its a 01 saturn Sl1 207k miles i had for 7 years as a second car. Automatic not at stick shift
If the idle stays high for longer than in this video, look for vacuum leaks and that the air cleaner and hoses are all tight and right to start out

Ааа собственно в чем смысл этого видео?
The sound of the muffler
That may be tough and stuff, but that ain't no ford fuckin' ranger!
It does have the heart of a full size ranger though, haha
I remember that build it maybe time for another
a TIGER Purring.
He's talking to u Karen!
😂🤣
Something different
I wanted to do myself yikes
It's a bit on the tougher side but can be done, it's a job but that's why I made the video so that there's no mystery to it and also because there was no videos that I could find showing how to get the belt on and off, good luck with whichever you choose, a mobile mechanic should do this job for under 200 plus parts, imo
