XTeeHee
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 24 ก.ค. 2023
XTeeHee is to XTC what The Rutles are to The Beatles. An affectionate parody of a classic band. All songs are produced in a home studio by a solo multi-instrumentalist. XTeeHee were formed in Rutland in 1975, but moved to Swindon by mistake. Band members are: Randy Parchment (guitars, toy soldiers, producer-baiting); Corin Mouldering (bass guitar, Noel Coward impressions), Barry Bismuth (toy organ), Terry Wham (falling over the drums), Dave Giggery (far too many guitars - don't even point!).
XTeeHee/ The Three Wise Guys/ Hits for Christmas
A festive offering from XTC's comedy counterparts - illustrated with a collection of British Christmas stamps from 1966-1983. Thanks to all our subscribers for likes and listens in 2023: look out for more in 24!
Randy Parchment on Hits for Christmas:
'A Christmas single? It's the gift that keeps on giving... to Noddy Holder. Back in 1983 we thought we'll have a bit of this, thanks. It was originally going to be sung by Richard Branston (the famous pickle millionaire) under the pseudonym Virgin on the Ridiculous, but we ended up as The Three Wise Guys. The reference to Blue Peter's Advent Crown will be lost on anyone older than us or from outside the UK: this was a piece of tinselly tat, made from some old coat hangers and decorated with candles - guaranteed to burn the house down by Christmas.'
And A. Partridge in a pear tree... Merry Xmas everyone!

Randy Parchment's randiest recording. Persons of a nervous disposition should be aware this song is rather rude... Randy: "All my songs are about sex, actually. This one is just a bit more obvious than most. Lots of frantic strumming, if you get my meaning. My right hand was worn out by the end of the session. And the recording was exhausting too. All together now: dum-diddly-dum-diddly-dum-did...

They're back... XTC's alter egos from the twilight zone where Swindon and Rutland meet. This time, it's a song from their 1986 collection Poplarkin. Randy Parchment takes up the story: Randy: The label asked us who we'd like to produce the next album, and for a gag, I suggested Bob Todd. Well, he'd worked with Benny Hill and we’d always set out to be a comedy band. We were sent to Woodstock in ...

Gotcha! Nope, this is not XTC but their alter-alter egos - in a mysterious realm far beyond the Dukes of Stratosphear we find XTeeHee, the comedy version of everybody's favourite band from Swindon. In 1986 when XTC were busy having an argument with Todd Rundgren, their comic counterparts were recording their album 'Poplarkin', with producer Bob (99% of Gargoyles) Todd. 'Weed' was the first sing...

Sounds like Sir John Thomas on Holiday in Bognor Regis.
Feeling ready for a Harry Rag! after that
I think this one was produced by WC fields
I just love Captain Mainwaring's version of this Gilbert O'Sullivan's Parrots of Penzance Classic.
Brilliant! Sir John Thomas Dong, Ermintrude would be proud 'have a sugar lump dear chap' boing! time for bed.

Splenderful!!!! i'll meet you there yesterday! ✌🤪💫💕
You're a mad lad, MR P. We love you, BTW :)
Andy is a genius - and probably wishes at times that he wasn't one ...
This is not Andy doing a parody of a Colin song. Firstly, he would never do that, and secondly, I asked him and he has nothing to do with any of these parody songs.
The Bonanza part made me legit laugh out loud
最高すぎる!
❤
Help me, my brain and stomach are twisting!
It's so good to hear new familiar things from our beloved Randy! I absolutely laughed out loud at this one! Poor Baldrick!
Right who the hell is doing these? is this Andy? Driving me mad, these are so funny if you are a fan.
Where the hell has this come from? This is brilliant and gold for XTC fans, really funny. Harmonies on this are class.

Down to an Xteehee
Any one have any idea who is behind XTeeHee?
Starting to think its Andy myself, it sounds too much like him taking the p***.
@@eddiecousinsjrthat's what I'm going with, production has a fuzzy warbles vibe... plus... this is just the thing Andy would do to amuse himself!
