Magic Loop with 2 Sets of Circular Needles

Magic Loop with 2 Sets of Circular Needles
Best tutorial I have seen on this!!! And I’ve watched a lot and tried many of them.
I finally think I have it. Thanks Joy you have made this clearer than any I have seen thus far.
Thank you girl, you've been most helpful ❤
Thanks for this - really helped to simplify the process
Best, uncomplicated circular tubular cast on!!
Great video! Thank you!
I've been trying all day to get this cast on and your video finally cracked it for me! Thank you! I want to knit my first raglan sweater and I wanted a pretty cast on for the neckline. ❤❤❤
What are the odds that the skein i was trying to start (as a baby crocheter) is that exact Vanna’s Choice lion brand red 😂😂 that’s hilarious
Come back to this video every time i need to do a tubular cast on!
Great video. Im a tubular cast on novice, took me a few attempts but got there in the end. At the end of each row l found i had to watch these sections intently as thats where i was going wrong!
Fantastic knitting lesson. Your instructions are very clear and helpful. I am creating sweaters for small dolls and can certainly apply your method 👍🏼Wondering if you have instructions for making a cardigan?
What kind of witchcraft is this!? My mind has been blown out of this world! I LOVED IT! Thanks for each little tip and detail you shared <3
This was so very helpful. Thank you for such a clear video instruction!
all this time i was knitting wrongly hahaha my purl is correct but the knit wasnt
I simply adore your sheep and snow flakes color work pattern do you haven the pattern for sale? I would love to knit a sweater like. That it will be my first trial color works thankd
Oh boy is this a gamble...definitely worth it the time I was able to do it but brutal otherwise
Do you think it would be possible to continue the pattern as double stockinette instead of going to normal K1P1?
Wow! I watched several videos on how to do the circular tubular cast on and was about to give up when I came across this video. I totally understood what you were doing, and you explained it superbly. Thank you so much for sharing this otherwise difficult technique.
💐👍💐
Those were really clear instructions. It is truly magic how it grows into that hat that seems to fit the head
Great video, thx. I tried it with magic loop and more challenging! What tip length needle did you use with your 16inch cable?
This is becoming an absolute travesty for me...
10:10 note to self. This is where I left off.
This is very helpful video.. Quick question did the stitch count increase or it remains same as the count started?
Thank you such an uncomplicated explanation 🙌🏽
I am still fairly early on in my knitting journey, but this is the first time I've encountered a 1x1 ribbing that isn't simply k1p1. Are you slipping every other stitch because of the cast on? Or is it done this way for a particular pattern? I love the clean look of the CO edge, but just want to make sure I'm understanding everything okay!
I'm fairly new too so I may be wrong about this, but a project I'm currently working on uses slipped stitches in this fashion. you'll see she's alternating between which stitches are slipped with every initial row, so it ends up creating two separate layers of material. I guess this is why it's called tubular, given that it creates a tube around the first two rows
thank u queennnnn
Excellent tutorial
I have tried getting the yarn in the center then half way through it gets knotted in the center somewhere.
This is what happens to me I have no idea where either of the ends are and it’s driving me nuts
Ah thank you!!! I haven't been able to figure out exactly what counter clockwise meant in terms of wrapping the yarn, but showing it from that top down view makes so much sense to me now. I'm just learning and I know I'm twisting my purl stitches but couldn't figure out the correct way. Thank you!
Thank you. Years later this is still a very easy and clear example. The only challenges I had were my yarn (old tired acrylic), to tight of tension with the crocheted cast on, and my crochet stitches didn't unzip (probably because I crochet left-handed and knit right-handed). In the end though the results were great and I'll be using this technique again for sure! Thanks again!
I’m obsessed I can’t wait to try
I'd love to see this done in the English style, it looks soooo fiddly done the continental way 😢
Holy cow! That is one crazy cast on! I'd used it a couple of times in the past but not with the scrap yarn method, which I found so much easier. Your video is very well done and answered a number of questions I had that others did not. Thank you so much. I don't think I'd ever be able to do it without referring to your video so please never take it down! lol. I can't imagine the brain of the person who invented this!
Thank you so much!!!! Just did my first!!!
These instructions are so easy to follow and easy to see what your doing. Thank you 😊
Best. Tutorial. Thank you!!! I had tried 4 different tutorials prior to this one... and failed so many times! The way you teach and show is amazing! I got it first time. The only bit that was confusing me was the very last yarnover stitch. I did something wrong there, but fixed it! I will be coming back to this tutorial again I am positive!!!
How do you do this for an odd number of stitches?
wow
Thus video is so helpful thank you
I love the provisional technique and your instruction. Is this "jogless"?
This is the best tutorial I have found to explain this technique! Thank you so much! 💓
thanks. you saved me!
Where to buy this yarn? 🤩
Thanks so much. Exactly what I needed to remember.
My knight stitch is twisted, how can i avoid that? Many greatings Njusja
Nice
Great tutorial but I'm liking the ease of the 1X1 better! Your tutorial for that one is so super easy- this one seems more complicated- I might just be a baby and stick with one by one!
I have used this video several times bc I always second guess how. 😆 TY for posting this and making it so fast & easy
