I would say not. My guess is that the length of the bike shoudnt be an issue, but the width when the bike is standing up. The handlebars would probably not fit.

Haha yeah I'm sure. It might not show on camera as they do a pretty good job welding the frame together, but it is definitely aluminium and you can clearly see the welding seams in real life!

XL. Ik ben 189cm. Ik heb wel de stuurpen iets ingekort want ik vond hem te uitgerekt. Een L had waarschijnlijk ook prima gepast maar het zit wel echt op die grens.

Thnx! I used the 10L version for this review, but later swapped it for the 15L version with a backbone to have a little more room to play with. I have not used this with a dropper post so I can't help you there..

Thnx! I use Shimano xc300 XC shoes, with SPD clipless pedals. The same setup I use for XC mountainbiking.

Yep, that should work as well. It is nothing but a protective layer. As long as the thickness is the same, or it will be sticking out. I used simple universal glue (suited for plastics). In The Netherlands the brand is called Bison, but I'm sure any universal glue, suited for plastics, in any DIY shop would do just fine.

Btw, now that I think of it. The wahoo logo is printed onto the glass. Using plexiglass means you lose that, and you look just straight through it and see the individual lights. So it would not look pretty, but work just fine.

I Use a down sleeping bag from decathlon (mt900). If you want a cheaper one they have a great synthetic one as well. If you only need extra room for your sleeping bag, and can already store everything else, I suggest you get the frontloader and A) just strap in your sleeping bag and not use the bag that is included, or B) take your sleeping bag out of its bag, and put it straight into the compression bag that is included :) that should fit nicely either way

@@BoostMountainbiking thank you for the advice! I will have a look at the sleeping bag and that’s a good idea with the front loader! I went bikepacking for the first time last night and mostly successful. Just need to streamline gear 👍

That's a great tip! Will look into that. Wouldn't you need to prove you actually have the intention of fishing or something?

@@BoostMountainbiking not sure on those technicalities since I was always fishing :p. if there is a rule that requires intend to fish you might need a cheap rod to put in the water, you wouldn't even need a hook or bait

Zeker, Erwin zorgt bijv op Komoot voor veel inspiratie! Ivm het geboekte huisje was ik gebonden aan deze route, maar zijn routes ga ik zeker nog eens (gedeeltelijk) doen!

A rack/bag setup is great. The saddlebag does have a little bit of sway, which can also be taken away with a so called "wishbone". Hasn't been an issue for me yet, also on singletrack, but maybe in the future :) Happy riding!

Hi! You're right. My previous bike was a 160mm full suspension, so I figured it wouldnt be fair to compare it to that bike. I have never owned a gravelbike before, so that would also be a fake comparison. Thats why i stuck to what I know: its a versatile bike, that handles great, love the brakes and the shifting is nice and crisp. If you have any specific questions let me know!

Not really, but I was already used to it on my mountainbike and I like it on the trails. I do notice it whenever I do a few rides on my Road bike and then switch to my gravelbike. If I were to buy a gravelbike again, I would opt for a 12speed, but a 1by for sure.

@@ninibur sure, i was struggling hard myself to make a decission between those 2 tents and nearly a kilo more of weight , but what made me buy the mt 500 at the end was not the money or the weight, but the black mesh for discretion on camping sites or wildness , the 900 mesh with its decathlon colors or plain white is eye cathing inside every forrest or camping site. also if im not wrong those colors attract insects more then darker ones.

The bike is the XL, the midloader is a 2.5L (biggest size possible) :)

I bought the biggest size possible, which is only 2.5L. It looks great, because it's sleek and pretty stiff, but that does mean the room is limited. At the upside: because of the stiffness, you won't have problems hitting your knees.

Hier reed ik op een Merida OneTwenty 9.8000

hoewel je met de rem gebruiken en naar achter leunen in mijn ogen helemaal goed zit (zoals ook in de video te zien is), zou ik persoonlijk niet aanraden om het zadel laag te doen. Leuk voor de manual, maar niet voor de wheelie. Deze moet vanuit de benen komen en dan is een lage zitpositie niet handig.. Als het werkt voor jou, TOP! maar zou het een beginner zeker niet aanraden ;)
