😀 I'm not meaning it literally here. Just using it as a metaphor as this TRD Pro's 4.0L V6 powertrain has been one of the most reliable in the industry. Also, I do not own this car; I borrowed it from a local dealership for this video.

Thank you. I like the reliability and the understated infotainment, but I can't get used to the front grill. Every time I see it, I think of the 1958 Edsel. If the Edsel's front end was an Oldsmobile swallowing a lemon, the RX's front end is a Highlander vomiting it back out. That said, we're looking to buy an RX this week, but if we do, it won't be because we like the front end. It just looks strange, and not in a good way. I dread seeing it everyday in my garage...

The home charging feature requires extra equipment because it is impossible to directly use the vehicle's "Pro Power Onboard" feature to power the high-voltage electricity of a home. Conversions for safety reasons must happen. The Lightning's miles-per-gallon equivalent (being an electric vehicle) is 78 mpge in the city and 63 in the highway. That is almost more than 3 times as efficient as the most efficient gas powered model (the hybrid), making the recharging cost substantially less than filling up with a regular model.

@@rohitkarthik Yeah that is if you charge your F150 at your house. But if you happen to run out of charge away from home you will be paying a big fee to use someone else charge station. Look at the story it is all over the internet about the guy who purchased that truck and deeply regretted.. I seen this truck at the dealership all the time people are just bringing them back.. To dam expensive 💴 NO average family will be able to afford this truck and you know it. For that price I will buy me a house Good luck selling them.. Ford provides 250 kWh of complimentary fast charging to be used over 3 years at Electrify America charging stations in the Blue Oval charging network, so in fact charging outside of home is not as expensive as it may seem! Even after those 3 years expire, data analysis show that filling up an electric truck is on average $40 cheaper than a gas powered one. The Lightning is more expensive than the regular model initially, but the Lightning offers far more technology, over the air software updates, more affordable fueling costs, and is far more environmentally friendly. It's also cheaper to maintain in the long run, as the average car ownership is 8 years. You save about $1000 a year charging rather than refueling with gasoline, meaning that you save almost $10000 - making the costs of a gas truck and an electric one quite similar long term.

The car's body-on-frame platform means it looks different than its unibody rivals, and it also means it's way more capable off-road. That's really why people buy these things, for the capability and durability combined with the peace of mind you get with the dependable powertrain.

The TRD Pro had no changes from 2021 except for a custom paint color in 2023.

@@rohitkarthik Yes, it did, in 22 it received multi terrain monitor or 360 cameras, it also received led lights as standard. It also received blind spot monitoring and rear crosstraffic alert. For 2023 it received heated steering wheel, and side marker lights for turn signals. This is for TRD PRO models. And this truck is a 2021 specific model NOT 2023, very misleading as you could have people looking for this vehicle color and it isnt availble in 2023 for the TRD Pro and this color vehicle lacks the aforementioned options.

Instead of "no changes", I should have indicated these changes between 2021 and 2023. I had omitted these small upgrades to keep the video length shortened. Thanks for mentioning them. I have added a pinned comment outlining these changes.

What @mbenton6 said. The interior of the CX-90 is of a class higher than its mainstream rivals in my opinion, but it's definitely more affordable than luxury car companies. It strikes a nice balance between the two.

@@rohitkarthik The issue is that the price spread between base and top trim is significant...some $20,000. The top trims are less appealing considering the upcharge over the base. I wish they would have painted all the exterior trim that is black plastic on the lower trims body color. Looks so much more upscale/finished.

Yeah, the lower trims definitely aren't a luxury-car rival - they end up competing with the typical Highlanders and Pilots on the road. The upper trims step into Lexus RX and Acura MDX territory though, they are quite nice. There is for sure quite a spread; the model reviewed here is just a more expensive trim.

Yep, you're right, my bad 😂. Meant to say "midsize" in the video. The new Integra is Acura's compact model. EDIT: the title too, haha. Just changed it.

It's interesting because the TLX isn't really large enough to classify as a midsize car (though it's closer to that than "compact" for sure), but not small enough to be a compact either. It's kind of in the middle, making it difficult to classify.

@@rohitkarthik I'll take the ILX over the TLX. Suits my needs better. I've read the TLX , for whatever reasons had lots of issues compared to the ILX. I have a couple dealerships jumping around looking for a 21' or 22' A-spec silver ILX for me. They tried to turn me on to the Integra. I said nope, I'm done with cvt transmissions. Not that I've had any issues with Hondas in my Civic. I just want to feel a real transmission on a daily again. Me rowing gears is over too. For a daily anyways. They should have put that 8 speed dct in the Integra. Missed opportunity I'd say.

@@rohitkarthik i have the tlx it is mid size and bigger then the ilx and the integra!! The back seat space is cramped because the front has more space!! I had the TL, and the 2015 tlx that had the smaller body, this car is longer then the accord side by side!

This particular one is a 2022 model, but there were no changes for the 2023 model year, so the car I've reviewed here would be the same as a 2023 model.

Yes, this is the eDrive 40. This particular model was about $65,000.
