Asmongold reacts to a senseless controversy, where some anti-woke extremists went totally overboard and called Daniel Vávra's new game "woke" and accused Daniel of being a traitor and a sellout to reach that sweet ESG money. Which is of course nonsense, but for some people, the mere (optional) existence of non-heterosexual behavior and presence of (one) non-white character in a video game is automatically woke, regardless of context. Sadly, they fought the cult of identity politics for so long that they finally became the cult themselves, and now they behave exactly like those leftist woketards, for whom every slightest deviation from the progressive ideological purity and religion of DEI is also automatically considered heresy (in their case it is racist/sexist/homophobic etc.). The pendulum has swung. Horseshoe theory indeed.
I posted this video because Asmongold's opinion is very honest and reasonable (with the occasional "I-don't-give-a-fuck-I-say-what-I-think-no-matter-who-gets-offended", as he likes to do:-), which I think is missing from this conversation. That's why I thought it was a shame that he only expressed it in his live broadcast and it's not on his TH-cam channel.
