I love this performance. If I can't have DD Roger Taylor on DD drums, I love hearing the beautiful work of Sterling Campbell. I love the reverb. I love SLB's fuller vocal, with vibrato. I love the elevated presence of Nick's synths. I love the understated work of Warren and John, proving that there can be a place for simplicity in Duran Duran (but don't make a habit of it! 😂)

She did the Woody Wood Pecker bit. it was funny! lol I still have the cassette tape I recorded off the radio 30 plus years later. <3

I was visiting LA for spring break 3/92 & we were asked in front of the famous Chinese theater if we wanted free tickets to Johnny Carson that day. We had an exceptionally long wait outside & Leno was filling in that nite. People probably would’ve said no thx, had they known. But I do like Leno now. lol. We all thought Sophie was “out there”…if she had another hit, then she sang that too & was barefoot? She looks like she’s dressed for church here. Such conservative times they were, until about ‘10, with the start of social media. Haha

WOW!!!! How gorgeous her voice is!!! One of my VERY FAVORITE female singers of all-time! She is a goddess!!!! And she is actually singing LIVE, here, on both the songs she did!!!! Arsenio is such a nut, I cannot believe he merely called her pretty? duh, She is GORGEOUS!!!! Maybe he had this weird way of playing down complements from himself to women for some reason...I have no idea. Her vocal qualities, sound, tone, emotion, are astronomically talented!!! Love her!!!!
