WOW, so "simple" solution. this resurrected by GW 3000... it looks like something gets stuck... (I did not use my watch for some time)... now it work. It is just unbelievable.

As an user of GD350 I totally agree with all of your rates. Vibe alarm is a killer feature and unique module with separate timer button is very useful

OMG this trick really worked! My watch hands both got stuck after replacing the battery. I searched the internet for hours for a solution. Slamming it a couple of times on a carton box did the trick. Thank you!

Well considering the night light illumination is utter crap, the compass is woefully inaccurate, thermometer only works off the wrist, and the battery life is shockingly short. No it's not a good idea to buy.

It's still out of stock in 2024, not sure what's up with the watch but I'm guessing it had software issues or the battery life was too limited so lots of complaints?

Worked for my GA2100. No magnets around at all but what can you do….. not exactly happy with the watch performance now.

I have one. It's a great watch. Battery has lasted longer than memory (many years). The performance is unchanged, very accurate and durable. I wear it every day, through thick and thin. Only recently (perhaps 4 years in) did the strap fail near the fixing bar. It was easy to DIY replace and worth it. I still use this watch. It is so easy to keep clean too, paint(dry or wet), mud, dust, and general filth, all easy to remove. the watch looks as good as new to this day, I'm no builder but I do a lot with my hands. This has been a great purchase. Glad it gets some love online.

You don't have to tell me I bought the gd350 back in 2012 to replace a dw6900 the gd350 is one of my favorites not because it's a complicated watch because it's a No Frills or business and very good time keeping peace I would highly recommend the gd350 today even over a smartwatch

I just purchased the GG-100 having had the the Rangeman GW-9400 prior. The Rangeman has both Solar power & Atomic clock but I wanted more. Happy with the Step and Calorie counter using the Casio App on my phone. This also updates the time on your watch which syncs with your smartphone rather than Atomic Clock which did not always work depending on where you live. Miss the Solar power option but no big deal to switch out the battery having got a quote of $8.00 done at the store or can do it myself. Recommend this watch as a less expensive option of the GWG-1000 which retails for $1000 Canadian + Tax vs the GG-100 that I bought new on sale for $375.00 Canadian including sales tax and 1 year warranty.

Why do people want to have on their G-Shocks a saphire crystal instead of mineral crystal. I know that prestigious and expensive G-Shocks have a saphire crystal but this is because they are luxury watches for collectors. Saphire crystal is easier to shatter. Maybe it’s protected in G-Shocks in a better way than in e.g. Omega, Rolex, etc. but the risk still exists. G-Shocks are tools and I don’t think that I want to worry about shattering the saphire crystal. Moreover, saphire should have the AR coat in order not to reflect the light. The best effect is when we have two AR coats - on the bottom and on the top of the saphire. Unfortunately, the AR coat is easy to scratch. Maybe we don’t scratch the saphire crystal, but we scratch the AR coat on top of it. I’d like to remind that NASA decided to give an Omega watches to the Astronauts. Those Omega watches didn’t have a saphire crystal but acrylic ones. Why? Because in tool watches and that ones wich have to work in tough environments, saphire crystal is not the good option. It can be easily shattered, but acrylic or mineral not. That’s why G-Shocks shouldn’t have a saphire crystal.

How can you review a watch when you clearly know very little about it… thumbs down from me. I’ll watch a review from someone that’s done their homework on it first.

Sapphire is very brittle so it will shatter super easily. However it will be scratch proof. Its the opposite for acrylyc, for example.

is possible removal the glass without that pressing tool?
