Risk of Hyper Light Rain 2. I'm not sure this was the best direction for a Hyper Light Drifter sequel. I appreciate the Supergiant route with the development tho.

This game slaps but the rails need serious work. I can 4 shot a boss with my God build sword. I can't even get through a quarter of a bosses health using exclusively rails because they don't deal shit for damage and they don't have enough ammo to get through a majority of encounters with small groups of enemies, let alone fight bosses.

Please consider making ammo recharge on strike again. I barely use guns except to apply debuffs with ammo so stingy.

Windows only? Thanks for nothing … Make games for Linux already and dont make us gamers have to be mandatory costumors of Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo (and Valve). And honestly: „hyper light drifter“ was fantastic, great atmosphere, great music, great gamplay and sadly way to short to enjoy that masterpiece for more time. But this 3D multiplayer now? It does not look as charming and that multiplayer experience is the exact opposite of the first game and just too common nowadays and with its reduced 3D graphics also not a real competitor to all the other 3D multiplayers. Just the old game with more complexity, more to do and longer gaming time would have been way way better, even with a reduced multiplayer (in fact a multiplayer experience like „Elden ring“ would have been perfect. So sad … Missed chance …

I'm so done with early access hype trailers and early access releases. People created finished games before, released them finished and polished. These days it's just about milking every angle possible, it's so tragic. If you need funds, there are alternatives. At least then you don't have to suffer the consequences of negative feedback over a product that is semi broken because it's not finished. Dear Lord, ugh.

Being a sorta prequel to drifter put the biggest smile on my face, that game had a huge influence on my life when it came out

So you went from a quiet and somber philosophical rogue like to a hero shooter? I don't support SBI products, but the general direction of this game by itself is such a miss. Really bad idea, imo, to go this route. I'm also reading pretty negative comments about the quality of the game on Steam as well. This isn't worth 30$ imo.

I dont like that you don't start with a gun and if you die, you lose it. It should be part of your main loadout like in HLD.
