It's not the sudden threatening with a gun itself, it's the clumsy dropping of that gun at first then Jack's expression that makes this gun scene improvisation work as a whole😅 Many other actors would have pulled that gun right out and thought "that must have looked so cool..."
Jack began to believe his own hype in his later years. It shows in this. And why Scorsese never worked with him again. It was becoming hammy. But boy was Jack great in the 20th cy.
DISGUSTING SEXIST SHIT . girl halnfaked with ass from the side BOYS are NEVER SHOWN THAT WAY. girl in panties with stupid unnatural sexual poses , and halfnaked ass from side, boys never, boys in shorts that almost end up at their KNEES. and also not in tight. but girls always in short extreme short and skintight. halfnaked ass hafnaked tits and sexual poses. boys never. boys in long and wide, girls in short and tight, NORMAL SEXISM , sadly...DISGUSTING. good boys only want to see their OWN GIRL sexually.....no other ho who shows to everyone.......good girls dont do that. good girls only show sth sexual to their boyfriend..... DISGUSTING AND SEXIST. good boys dont watch hoshit.
The funny thing here is that even though Dicaprio is the Rat it turns out that his advice to Nicholson was solid. As "getting popped" by one of his own guys literally happens near the end of the film. By his own Rat no less.
Every time I see Leo and Jack in the same scene I am reminded just how much better Jack is at his craft. Leo always overdoes it ever so slightly, while Jack is relaxed, effortless, pitch-perfect.
I always thought Billy dropped the gun here. Lol! He threatens to put a bullet in Frank and suddenly a gun hits the floor. Frank looks surprised, and then examines the gun like it's the first time he's seen it. I really thought Billy just had butterfingers and Frank ended up with his gun. It's funny and works both ways.
Probably the best unscripted scene of all... The gun falling to the floor was just perfect... Jack pointing a real gun on Leo just to get a reaction out of him... And the script didn't have as many Fucks in it. Too perfect
This scene was actually real. He pulled a real gun on him to get the most sincere reaction on set. Look it up, they just went with it and never stopped filming lol
Two legends from different generations, playing off each other was so dang perfect! This movie probably has one of the most talented casts of all time!
He actually figures it out but he let's it slide because he sees what he sees
Those were real slaps. Faye asked for it to be real
5555😢
Ummmm ok so we are still ok with men slapping women now? wow... lol I can't
Genius
Absolutely incredible scene
JACK'S A GOOD MAN

Jack Nicholson sempre teve muito mais classe e talento do que Faye Dunaway.
Oh, Frank dropped it!? I always thought it was Billy.

This is the rea Joker
MASTERPIECE!!!!!
This and the end scene where the highlights of the film, both absolutely hilarious!

Jack Nicholson is the epitome of cool
Two legends!
Did you know, it was a real loaded gun and noone knew about it? Lucky that thing was secured, because he had his finger on the trigger.
Pasty Cline in Background Made This Scene Better
Every time I see Leo and Jack in the same scene I am reminded just how much better Jack is at his craft. Leo always overdoes it ever so slightly, while Jack is relaxed, effortless, pitch-perfect.
Enjoyed the movie. Introduced it to me by Micheal Burke and Rose Buurke, 6 knox Street, MA,BOSTON, USA.
Neither one is showing their best talent here. It's mediocre scene with Nicholson lacking his charisma badly.
Prop guns look very realistic, i dont get how he could tell in a split second that its real or not
For those who don't know. That's a real gun this scene was unscripted and Jack did it to get a real reaction from leo
0:59 Joker’s laugh 🃏

I just read that the gun Jack Nicholson is holding is a real gun. And Lenardo reaction is real
Its Jordan Peterson and Elliot page
Jack passing the torch to leo
the important things, they don't smile or laugh. what a really best Actor Ever.. to good!

One of the most horrifying scenes in cinematic history.
I always thought Leo could play a young Jack Nicholson
Love his joker laugh
Good thing Alec Baldwin wasn't holding the gun when it fell.
Two legends from different generations, playing off each other was so dang perfect! This movie probably has one of the most talented casts of all time!
Jack actually forgets his script after the gun fell down...
Completely scripted.
It was unscripted
@@JJA1987 what makes you think this wasn't scripted?
@@markwood5486 the director stated that it wasn't
2:00 his little eyebrows look
Jack Nicholson used real gun in this scene for authentic reactions from Leo.. the crew went with it and Leo was actually terrified of the loaded gun
th-cam.com/video/GeM3ZfFKCRg/w-d-xo.html🤣🤣🤣
You think they don't we don't they don't we don't do the things same things as you?
Let me look down a barrel to show I’m nuts? I’m guessing that’s the idea? Not sure.
Breaking news! Will Smith will do a remake of this movie.
How do you know
"do y have a girl friend"?... No no what? 😆😃😎🐯
lol Jack acting so cartoonish here like mostly performance he did before, if it's de niro who play mob boss it's gonna be more intense
Jack Nicholson a fuckin amazing actor
