Clutch life is dependent on Clutch slip. The more aggressive you are with the slipping, the faster the clutch will wear out. I've killed a brand new Clutch in 2 passes cause I was pre loading it for tooo long.

Yep. I always choose running and driving over appearance first also. But sometimes you gotta give it some love.

@@pedropalmares2213 I upgraded everything to 3510 u joints and flanges. The driveshaft shouldn't be an issue anymore.

It wasn't really torque. It looks like wheel hop on the launch. He's using Haltech

I'm using a Haltech 1500. It doesn't really offer torque management. All this carnage and parts breakage has to do with the slipper. Every outing, we learn something and gather data. We are getting close to getting this thing figured out how to launch without breaking parts and destroying clutches. My biggest obstacle right now is not having a race track close to go test at now. My channel is still very young and we are only on year 3 with the car. We are really close to putting up some good number's with the car once we get the launch dialed in.

Yeah the wheel hop was rough on the last hit.

I have made some changes to the slipper and it's getting closer to launching better. It was a wild one!

What information are you looking for?

I just installed the Clutch Tamer slipper valve. I'm still trying to get it figured out. No one that I know of is using this slipper valve on a DSM, let alone an AWD car. I've made some changes to the slipper setup and need to get back out to test.

Thanks, man. Yeah. Once you are at the point of asking for everything out of these cars, they are going to break. I've had pretty good luck sourcing spare parts lately.

Thanks. Yep that's what I've been doing. If I break something, I replace plus pickup a spare.

I did not install a brake controller. I didn't plan on towing anything really heavy.

I hear where you're coming from. Money wise, yes an auto would be the cheaper route. It's also the easy and boring route. The PPG trans has been great after I rebuilt it. The h pattern isn't shifted by co2. I still shift the car. The co2 is for boost control. This car was originally built in like 2015 and Dave Ruby drove the crap out of it. I've owned it for 3 years now and am having to deal with the years of abuse all the stock parts have taken. We are close to getting this car to launch like it should, and once the slipper is dialed in, it should be easier on all the parts.
