squeeze the spring in a vise and put a zip tie, put it in and cut the zip tie....

Lifehack: The bolt on top of the motor mount can be removed. Just use two nuts against eachother and unscrew it. Then the motor mount will come out easily.

How you get engine mount?

It looks like it's been over 1yr since this was posted. I'm not trying to be super critical, but what you did was all wrong in many ways. One halo didn't work (maybe not your fault), the blinker lights came on as DRL because they were wired or connected to the wrong output, and the video needed way more lighting for any viewer to see what you were doing most of the time. It's a shame that this is the only detailed installation video out there (for this specifically). Thankfully, it does help the regular idiot understand that this kit is NOT plug and play as advertised and that with some discernable thought, can be done correctly with a bit of effort. Still, thanks for the time and post.
