A few tips… 1. Never get off the plane until a traveling companion has confirmed that your wheelchair was brought to the gate. Refuse being transferred to the aisle chair until you have that confirmation. If people get impatient, just let them know that you cannot be on the aisle chair for a long period of time. If it takes too long, the flight attendants will get involved because they want to get going to. Be kind and use them as leverage. They know how to get things done when airport personnel drop the ball. 2. The air plane seat cushion can be easily removed (it's just held down with velcro) and replace with your wheelchair cushion. This will keep your feet on the ground and your head low enough that it gets support from the head rest. If you are using a Roho cushion, be sure to adjust the air once the cabin is pressurized. 3. Remove everything off your wheelchair that can be done so easily at the gate and stored in overhead bins. Foot rest if removable. Headrest if removable. Armrests if removable. Joystick if removable. 4. Make sure you lean side to side and forward to do weight shifts. 5. Have an awesome trip!
@@lewiswharf man those are some incredible points! You honestly just taught me a bunch of things
@@lewiswharf yeah you’re right about them bringing it to the airplane. My first two trips they didn’t bring it to the airplane and I didn’t want to be a pain in the ass so I just went with it after arguing for 10 minutes, but this time around I put my foot down and said no bring me my wheelchair and I’m so grateful I did

T5 205 pounds trying keto. How many days did it take to show your body in ketosis. Been ten days still no coler on test strips. My ass always feels full to( uncomfortabley). How long did it take you??? Im trying to get down to 150 to. Talk to me my man. How many calories a day??? Im desperate, turning into a fat ass, outgrowing my high dollar chairs. Also not trying to break my wifes back taking care of me.
Sorry for the delayed response, honestly, I didn’t really even pay attention to trying to get into ketosis, all I did was be mindful of my carbs and try to get under 50-60 carbs in a day, and switched out my sugar for monk fruit sweetener Just focus on your sugars and carbs and honestly don’t give a shit about confirming your in ketosis, and don’t make your life miserable by going zero carbs unless you eat a lot of vegetables regularly and love them, I hate vegetables so that’s why I put my carb intake around 50 to 60 and I also didn’t count fruit as carbs and I still lost 50 pounds in probably three or four months probably a little less, but I wasn’t really paying attention how fast it was going Other point is get one of those measuring tapes that are floppy so that every week or every other week you can measure your belly and different parts of your body to see that you’re losing the weight, scaling yourself is something they tell you not to do. You’ll see the bigger impact with the size going down
Not gonna lie. I've thought this about you lol
Hey man, I also started my SCI content channel and my wife was just telling me today to do a Penis video. I told her ¨I´m not ready¨ jaja. Think it´s cool you brought it up. Keep up the good content. You´ve got a new subscriber
I originally had 3 different wheel drive chairs. They were great when I lived in my own accessible apartment. When I moved back in with my parents, the roll in shower was in their master bathroom. I always hated going in their room because there was 2 quick sharp turns. Difficult with the rear wheel drive. When it was time to get a new chair, the rep that I was working with brought a mid wheel drive chair to the house. The chair was bigger than it needed to be for someone my size. I instantly fell in love with the mid wheel concept as that was the first time I wasn’t nervous about going into their bathroom. The transition from the rear to mid wheel drive was easy for me. I tried a front wheel drive and felt like I was going to crash into everything around me. So, yes I know I could have gotten used to it but didn’t want to bang up everything in the house while I was learning. The downside to the mid wheel that I found was as the yearly carnival. The power cables for rides were quite thick and in the walking path which couldn’t be helped. The mid wheel couldn’t handle it. So I never again took my power chair to the carnival since that was frustrating and much easier for my family to do wheelies in my manual chair over those cables I was discouraged from the standing wheelchair because what I was told is the seat cushions move when standing. Therefore, the custom contours in my seat and backrest would not be properly aligned when standing. Wondering what your experience is with that. I have not had extreme issues with bumpy rides except with one of the rear wheel drive chairs and only when it was in the ez lock in my van. However, I always get the shocks for a heavy duty chair even though my height and weight fall in the range for the standard shock system. I have spastic quad CP
Quetions if i install these firmwares and dwins could i then update the printers standard marlin firmware without it affecting the screen?
Not sure

That is most definitely NOT an ADA toilet. I broke my neck in 1983 when accessibility wasn't even thought of...we just made things work...so I have to chuckle to myself when I see people that think such and such's a deal breaker because it's not accessible (I'm not saying anything about you).
What makes it an ADA toilet I just look at it and say it’s basically the right height for someone to transfer onto? But you’re right I don’t know cause I don’t use it like that.
@@Qwadsqwadd it needs to be a certain height off the ground. 'What makes a toilet ADA compliant? Overall, an ADA accessible toilet must be at least 60 inches wide with its flush lever located on the open side. The center of the toilet must be between 16 to 18 inches of space from the side wall and the toilet seat must be at least 17 to 19 inches above the floor.'
