Do you happen to have a list of the books and videos that you used to go along with this?

I would never get anything done if I took care of me first. That being said, I waited way too long to start working out again---- I'm doing it for my children not for myself. I been feeling so yuck and tired all the time. Working out has change that. But my family, meals, home, homeschool do take priority. I think the mindset should be true self care like sleep & working out instead of wordly self care which can look like indulgence and neglecting the family to have a girls weekend.

If anyone who has started a Co-Op could give me advice on how you handle the monetary aspect of your co-op, I’d appreciate it so much. Do we have to file with the IRS and all that? Even if we do it in our homes and pay for our own supplies? I’m overwhelmed but my area needs this.

One question, I know your video is 2 years old but maybe you can help me. Two years ago I switched my then 3rd grade from Math-U-See Beta which is substraction, having mastered addition facts,as far as ai can remember. I switched to Math Lessons for a Living Education 4. We just finished our second year with that book and we are not even half way through. In the middle I spent a lot of time doing multiplication tables with him and this year we did AIM Multiplication from Math U See which is a bridge to get those facts down really well. Well, he is going into the 6th grade and I was done with Math Lessons for a living Education, wanting to try out Saxon 5/4, I administered the placement test and he placed for Saxon 5/4 but more Saxon 3. For like two seconds I was like: there is NO WAY I am going to put him in Saxon 3 😣😣😣😣. But then I became ok with the idea, so long as it can help him. My question to you is since he is turning 11 in about another month, do you think Saxon 3 would be too babyish for him?? Or should I go ahead and do it. And since by now I bet you have experience with 5/4 do you think I should just do that with him? TIA!!!

By the time, I had known Christ, alot of damage is done and recently God has talked through pastor about responsiblity and necessity to follow his commandments which are wake-up call to me. I was searching responsiblity in Chrisitan terms and this is how came to know you. Thank you for teaching me about responsiblity and you define it as duty.

Since the book is scripted, you sit with the kids to read together? It's a silly question but I would like to know how to teach them since my boys use ACE curriculum and I am thinking on switching this textbook...

I recently found a Pokémon alternative for my boys. It’s called Animo! I’m so excited to give them to my boys this Christmas!

As an Aussie, I can tell you that is not an Australian boomarang.. Our Boomerang looks like this 🪃 🪃 Amazon sells them. Most have Aboriginal art work on them completed by frist nation Australia's.

Other than underwear, I will thrift and yard sale just about anything. I do get great deals at Black Friday etc. as well. Thanks for the info! I would be interested to learn what your family time activity ideas turned out to be. Maybe do a creative picture or art craft thing with supplies you already have. My little guys loves colored pencils lately and this idea of yours is sparking an idea for us!

I bought this but kinda out it away as I didnt really think kids were retaining info. But as i look for a different grammer curriculum i just cant find anything better. My kiddo is also in grade 1- just turning 6 in Dec I think ill pick it up again, we can always do it over again next year, probably at a quicker/more review pace.

Do you have any of the little balance bikes? I was planning to get a tricycle, but then we heard about balance bikes, and we gave Cy one the Christmas when he was 1, almost 2, and that has gotten SO much use for a solid 4 years now (since when he grew out of it and started riding a pedal bike, Glenn grew into it).

Man, I wanted a treehouse my entire childhood, haha! That's going to be so awesome!

Long lived used/thrifted gifts! Such a great way to save money

I love the idea of a tree house. Also, I would not care if people did not like used gifts. Some of the gently used items I have thrifted and yard saled for my kiddo are his favorites. Save money any way you can especially since groceries and gas are sky high. My son is into the periodic table so we are getting him a poster and an acrylic stand with samples of many of the elements inside. We are getting him a big box of colored pencils and some blank comic book paper books. His big gift is a magnetic block race track -- he saw one at a fair, festival, or learning museum this year __ I remember seeing it just not exactly where we saw it LOL and loved it so Merry Christmas to all of you. The tree house is an awesome idea!! Also, those push trike things are awesome. We've had one that we used for all three of my boys, and they have all loved it. And yes! I love buying used! Also. . .if you need a video idea, I'd love to hear about your favorite Christmas movies. I watch the same three every year 😂 don't get me wrong, I love it, but I'd als love to hear yours lol We did a something big, something small, and a few books last year and it worked really well. So we plan to do that again this year, with a twist - my husband and I are fairly crafty so we're making all the big gifts 😉 hello, late nights!! Lol it'll be fun 😂
