Seem like you only covered like 4 issues
2007 g35 sedan with 134k and I've had to just replace the control arms, steering pump, rack and pinion, shocks and struts along with all fluids. The throttle body got cleaned and wouldn't reset the idle when trying to re-learn so it got replaced as well. It's garage kept and the interior is kept clean and seats hydrated so no interior issues, even with the Arizona heat.
i have an 07 with 160k and it has been maintained pretty well. but... the doors dont stay open, i just had to replace the driver window motor, the driver seat is ripped, my dashboard is half melted, no idea how much gas i have. and despite all of this i love it, runs like a scalded cat and turns heads everywhere i go. perfect 5/7
I have a sedan i only deal with oil consumption which is fixed by changing the rings and radio that i just disassembled and cut out the face plate then found a climate controller on marketplace to fix it.
Where bro at?
No offense but I feel even luckier then😅. I got my g in almost mint condition. Low mileage. All it needs is new axles, rack and pinion, rear main seal, tie rods and ball joints. Other then that my interior and exterior is mint
is the process the same for a 370z
My 350z air con blew a month ago. Nissan repaired it at a cost of $1600 to me. Two weeks later and only 2 trips later, it blew again today. Those b***ards wanted to charge me for it to be repaired again. I kicked up a stink and they'll be repairing it for free, and rightly so.
I couldn’t get the old one from my car from the firewall and it snapped off is still inside the firewall and the pipe opening from the fire wall got dented 😞 it’s over I’ll never have AC
You didn't even mention the leaky valve cover gasket, catalytic converter problems, or the leaky sunroof among many more things. These cars are fun to drive and beautiful, but they're a pain in the ass and a money pit. It's kinda like dating a 9 or a 9.5 😂
Is the automatic g35 a “ money pit “ one that obviously hasn’t been beat
@@BoiBoiGTAit all depends on how these cars are maintained. Yeah they have stupid small issues but engines are very reliable nonetheless
I'm trying to replace high pressure line on my Maxima.... I've broke 2 lines so far!! Lol... Cannot get the new line to fit from the firewall to condenser... I've never been more frustrated!!
Cool man... keep up the good work..
Horrible explanation n ur not even really showing how you did it
My 350GT has done 97,000kms and have had the Radiator Leak, Engine, Transmission, Diff, Rear Subframe Mounts fail, replaced all with stronger Aftermarket parts. The Lower Control Arm bushes appear cracked, but haven't failed inspection yet so those will have to be replaced with Urethane Bushes. The upgraded engine mounts, transmission, and solid diff bushes makes the car make more buzzy noises, but everything feels nice and tight and solid which is fine for this type of car. Also the dash is cracked, would like to remove it and have it redone in Alcantara in the future. Hoping it would be a nice reliable fun car, till I can upgrade to a late model Mustang GT in manual, I'm more of a V8 person but yea this car has been a different experience for sure and I dunno how the handling compares to a newer Mustang with IRS but am quite happy with the handling, and fat tyres. Good thing the Manual G35/350GT seem to only be going up in price.
For sure all pretty simple fixes but people let them add up. Good video and showing the exact location
I had this same issue some months back, when I saw $4 part in the title I knew exactly what it was 😂 good luck with the build 👍
Those rubber peices break really essily grab a transmission cable conector and push it in and clamp the side its plastc and will last longer
That car is beat!!!!
Very accurate, you forgot fuel pump issues tho . Very common
Hey man to fix the "self closing doors" you just need new door hinge door stoppers I bought two on ebay for about $40
Love the g bro but CLEAN THE STAINS 🤣
hi i have a 2004 g35 coupe have a after market radio clarion nx604 i think it is n it shows the main screen but wont show main menu to play music etc… any ideas ? i try pressing power, aux volume on wheel and nothing just bounced from clarion to smartvoice screen then back to clarion screen thanks
So fuckin useless bro. I don't understand why you even posted a video.... what are you showing us? Should've just posted a picture on Instagram. im trying to see what you're doing and you speed the video up and do no talking at all.. this why I can't stand when people say "look it up on youtube"
Lmfaoo it’s not your fuel pump ... you rev it to keep it on your alternator is not re charging the battery! It’s your alternator it crapped out
i got a 2005 g35x and honestly i cannot rely to anything you've said
Had mine (03 coupe) from 06-21 and a lot of these issues are familiar, but not all. I had the door issue but it did stay at max open, and the thing puked oil when it got about 200K miles (seals everywhere were going). The car had the original auto transmission to the end and no sign it was going either. My car (no offense) was in far better condition when I traded it in, and the interior and exterior were much cleaner. The driver seat was worn on the door side supports and under your ass, but all the other seats were great and the adjustments still worked (some of the switches were sticky but not bad). The interior fittings and door/dash panels had no cracks or missing pieces. The fabric inserts on the doors were losing their adhesion but I could tuck them in and use some glue to keep them there. The original HVAC/CD unit was replaced once when it had the "jamming" issue, but then I just gave up and used an iPod/phone and the radio and I never got a aftermarket unit. My exterior was great with the exception of the black rubberized door trim which oxidized and persistent rust spots in the rear wheel wells that were hard to keep clean in this car. Paint was great until the end but I waxed it frequently. The damn window motor issue was a bitch and I had the windows and locks go out randonly and then start working again out of the blue. The window would sometimes have a mind of it's own when the door closed and caused stress when the window decided to stay half open and not close at night. The headlights yellowed but I got them cleaned and they stayed decent. Besides the oil issues, my gauges worked, my idiot lights stayed off, and the clock and trip gauge worked til the end. Mechanically it was relaible besides the oil issues, and I think I had a rear end issue but nothing else very significant besides wear and tear in the usual places for an old car. I have no regrets owning this car but I would BEWARE buying one now as so many kids beat these to pieces. If you can find a stock original owner G, it's probably a good investment as the car is beautiful to look at.
Trunk wires breaking and not being able to open it
Doesn’t really match the interior but it’s your car dude
He said he’s changing the interior to black eventually bruh
Bro, never fire the parts cannon without a diagnosis Bro. Bro, first do some continuity checks Bro, and maybe some bench tests Bro. Or Bro, like find a shop that you pay Bro for some diag time Bro. Well worth it Bro. Parts ain't cheap Bro.
Bro I think u said bro to much bro
@@sammysanchez9223 I was tyring to reach the bro master with bro talk bro.
Brooo 😮💨😩❤️
exactly what im doing now, justm bought the car last month
My issue was when i did my motor swap i didn't align the flywheel lol
That car is BEAT, you bought that from a scrub
same thing i am saying project car or not why even buy it i this bad condition
One of the worst examples I've ever seen. Mine at 200 looks showroom compared to this trash
Who in the hell sat in your seats
My seats have 245 k on them and looks pretty decent lol
Lol no, you hold the button down to reset it
Problem 1: your bumper isn't the right color
I had a 350z at 131k miles had to replace all valve cover gaskets it leaked oil then got a g37 at 173k miles it blew up
My Tiburon had that same gas issue
Dude same year definitely got some of the issues
This is a non maintained car. I ve g35 2004, and everything is working perfect, I don't have any issue with it.
Yeah it definitely had multiple owners lol
finally someone who doesnt state the usual ones W
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great videos, I have a g35 2003... 11 years with the it, I want to give it some love. It has been with me in the good times and the bad times, so just want to do some mods... What type if seats did you get? And music window won't got down, I'll be checking the motor soon. Funny all those problems are the ones of the my g53, but is a good car
Will this kit work for a 2007 Infiniti m35? I need all the hoses besides one but can’t find the others so might as well just get the kit and keep the extra one.
I'm not sure, I would check mishimoto website and ask support.
yes same setup
@@Eric-kz2rt have you used the kit on a m35? Some say the radiator is a bigger distance from the engine then the g35. Want to make sure it all will fit
I myself just recently got an 04 g35 as a project car and one the very first things I noticed is the previous owner took out the thermostat. So when I bought a new one and inserted it with the complete housing the car overheated immediately. No holes, no leaks, no bubbles. Thermostat works fine any advice will help!
The car is overheating? How's the cooling system? The fans kicking on?
@@legacyspeed2031 yes they are. Very strange situation
Could be a blown head gasket or a bad radiator
@@alexisguzman8594 bad radiator
@@alexisguzman8594 How's the radiator?
Dide thats bad ass . Planning on buying a G to be a fun car . Mastly drifting lol .. gave ya a sub btw..keep it goin man
Appreciate the words man! Definitely pick one up
Got an 05 g35. Passenger seat just got stuck in the forward position so nobody can ride with me unless u really short
Sounds about right lol
Very informative video. Well done sir.
Thank you!
whered you get your double din?
I ordered it off of Amazon
@@hatimbackupchannel7252 The $200 one?
@@tkthongla863 Yeah, it seems it keeps going up in price.
I’m going to buy one 107k miles 2003 g35 lmk what am I expecting
Besides what I go over in the video, likely gonna need some new shocks or coilovers, run through replacing all the fluids, depending on how the previous owner drove the car will determine the engine quality. But all in all just your typical replacements with a project car.
I have a 2003 g35 sedan with 105k and has none of these problems. Besides regular maintenance I had to replace the tailpipe and the pipe from the catalytic converted to the muffler. I replaced the light bulbs of the analog clock myself. According to my mechanic I may need wheel bearings in the feature and that is all. My car looks like brand new inside and out but I do take care of it.
those are after market headlights..
Lmao I realized that shortly after, but they still do the same effect
Quick question my g climate control system not turning on anymore and it has the aftermarket stereo/dash I was in there switching the stereo for a different one put everything back in now my ac not working what do you think is the problem maybe needs new ac button motherboard?
Is there any power to the head unit and ac controls? If so, check the blower. If there is no power to the ac then it could be a short somewhere. It’s hard to say with these, lots to troubleshoot.
