Just paid for this bike, hoping for the delivery to happen in a couple of weeks here in Bangalore. I ride a classic 500 too, like you guys mentioned vibrations are part of the character of these bikes. The feature of vibrations is not a bug but its a feature. So long as one understands that reality it is fine. This bike is not trying to be a Suzuki or Kawa it wants to be classic and that is the reason we should buy it for. For me it is a neat looking, hasslefree classic upgrade. A classic can be as modern as this, anything more it will become a pseudo-classic. The biggest worry for my future with this bike is availability of spares and quality of service and support. That anxiety will go away only in the course of time. Until then i want to keep my fingers crossed and enjoy the ride.

Well said i test drove the bike today the engine is the right upgrade from my gt 535 ,bullet 500 cl engine, loved the engine didn't buy the interceptor aa it feels souless but the fit and finish and plastic materials used is just unacceptable for a 4 lakh rupee bike the interceptor is so well built and fit and finish is top notch. Bsa needs to improve by a huge margin in this area to offer true competition. But ill get one just for the engine.

Just subscribed to your channel. I think your conversations are much better than Motor Incs. It is raw just like a classic unlike others which I feel are choreographed and rehearsed well.

What are you thoughts on Build, Fit & Finish compared with Triumph? Has BSA maintained same as JAWA YEZDI or better than them. Since Triumph has already set standard with their build quality with their 400 & 400X and no one has matched so far.

I took almost 4 test rides on different days along with interceptor and Classic 350 J series, The bike seems to grow on you as you ride it more ,it handles very well in traffic , good heat management, feels light and nimble ,excellent torque, vibrations are well managed for a 650 single, good weight management too.The only place i was a bit disappointed was the engine knocking at higher gears in 4th and 5th for which you surely need to downshift more often. Its not as good as Classic 350 J in that aspect if you know what i mean. If you are fine with shifting gears more often than the Enfields, then its a good option in the market, Looks Great 👌.Lastly doesn't feel as Classic as Interceptor but feels more practical than its rival. Hope to see some more discussion on the BSA 650 on your channel.Cheers

I agree, hundred percent with you guys, a modern classic without vibrations or without any drama is not a classic if you want to see what vibration actually are ride classic 500 which I own, but still something about that vibration makes that bike complete. I am most likely planning to buy the BSA gold star, 650 because I just love the big singles

Non Biker(InstagramBikers) having a conversion without the basic knowledge and skillsets, firstly interceptor doesn't have bybre brake pads its only the calipers, brake pads are the same brembo and they cost 4800 for a pair(front and rear). And int's after 2021 have got ceats ins tread of perellis just upgrade with good tyres and you cant feel a difference in braking capabilities, Secondly int's are super reliable, super smooth, and a vast network of service centers. a single department where BSA shines is Looks that too a subjective. and I recently got a test ride of BSA , the engine casing is not properly done it has quiet niggles in fit and finish. And that coating on engine will not last for long.

I’ve been contemplating buying the GT. But the BSA looks such a better classic option to buy and Convert to a Cafe.

Bsa should get rid of cheap stickers as soon as possible. And should provide touring accessories like back rest, touring seats, carrier and tubeless tyres as an option, then i will definitely go for it. I am using electra 350 with all these accessories.

Twin Cylinder actually matters its not subjective bro....I cant blv that u people are comparing single cylinder and twin cylinder, n saying 2nd cylinder doesnt matter..... Interceptor even at 6000 rpm is butter smooth. And u only admitted that after 4000 rpm BSA has vibrations....

For now even if bsa looks lil better, bt it can't come close to after sales service which is d most important thing after you purchase a bike

Both BSA and INT are equally good and can peacefully co-exist as 2 fantastic options for classic bike enthusiasts.......

Hope Mahindra doesn't give BSA the step-motherly treatment which they gave to Mojo. Mojo was a decent motorcycle especially the upgraded version but today there is no news about it. Anyways I liked the honest conversation about the two motorcycles. Overall I feel BSA is a tad better than Inteceptor, but one should be wary of the paucity of service centers and the accessories ecosystem which would take a long time to develop.
