what i dont understand is WHY is there a need to switch to a new method of messaging?! SMS is good enough,why would anyone EVEN NEED to create a new method of messaging to do the EXACT same thing!

I don’t have either and was thinking about which one to get, which would you recommend?

I have an Android and it does not even come with rcs thing inbuilt. I had to download it and set it up and people I am going to message need to set it up...too much work. And sometimes it switches back to SMS for some reason. Don't like it at all
